UFC legend Matt Brown touted one of his closest losses as his all-time favorite memory of competing inside the Octagon. Brown announced his UFC retirement after a long, legendary run inside the cage. The 43-year-old knocked out Court McGee in what turned out to be his final UFC fight in May 2023.

UFC middleweight star Michel Pereira rescued several dogs from flooded homes in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Pereira earned another middleweight win by defeating Ihor Potieria by first-round knockout at UFC 301 earlier this month. The win secured him a spot in the UFC middleweight rankings and moved him one step closer to the title picture.

Former UFC title challenger Darren Till is ready to put influencer boxing to an end. ‘The Gorilla’ has been out of action since a third-round submission loss to Dricus du Plessis in December 2022. Following that loss at UFC 282, Darren Till was released from the company. However, it was a mutual parting of the ways. After his release, Till stated his plans to head to the boxing world, and later return to MMA.

Demetrious Johnson last competed at ONE Fight Night 10 last May, in a trilogy bout with Adriano Moraes. There, the flyweight champion secured his second-straight victory over the Brazilian. This time, defeating ‘Mikinho’  by unanimous decision.

It has been announced that Jake Gyllenhaal is set to reprise his role as ‘Elwod Dalton’ for Road House 2. Gyllenhaal’s Road House, a reboot of the classic 1989 Patrick Swayze movie, debuted on Prime Video March 21 and has so far amassed nearly 80 million worldwide viewers, according to the streaming service. It is Amazon MGM Studios ‘most-watched produced film debut ever on a worldwide basis’.

Chase Hooper knows he will have to get Viacheslav Borshchev to the ground if he is going to get his hand raised at UFC St. Louis. Hooper is set for his third fight at lightweight as he’s 2-0 and coming off a submission win over Jordan Leavitt back in November. After the win, he was hoping to get a quick turnaround, but that didn’t happen.

Just minutes before Turcios was set to make the walk, it was revealed Rosas Jr. was sick and the fight was off. It was disappointing news for Morono and Turcios, who liked the style matchup against the 19-year-old.

Kyle Nelson has won his third straight fight as the betting underdog. Nelson scored a first-round TKO win over Bill Algeo on the main card of UFC Atlantic City. The Canadian started strong as he landed a massive shot that wobbled Algeo and he kept landing punches that forced the ref to jump in and stop the fight.
