Davey Grant was hoping to get one fight in 2024 after having to withdraw from his bout back in March. Grant was supposed to face Cody Gibson in March, but an injury that required surgery forced him to pull out. Having to withdraw from any fight was tough for Grant, but he says the goal was to return before the year was up.

Colby Covington has a new head coach ahead of his return at UFC Tampa. Covington is set to take on Joaquin Buckley on Saturday night at UFC Tampa in a pivotal welterweight bout. It’s Covington’s first fight since he suffered a decision loss to Leon Edwards last year for the welterweight title.

While Greg Hardy initially had success in the UFC, he hit a wall in 2020. In his last three bouts, the heavyweight contender was brutally knocked out by Marcin Tybura, Tai Tuivasa, and Serghei Spivac.

The only place UFC champion Belal Muhammad will fight Colby Covington is on the street. ‘Remember The Name’ hasn’t been seen in the cage since facing Leon Edwards at UFC 304 in July. Despite entering the cage a heavy betting underdog, Belal Muhammad wound up dominating ‘Rocky’ in Manchester. After five rounds of action, the Palestinian fighter was finally crowned UFC welterweight champion by unanimous decision.
Michael Chandler believes future fight against Paddy Pimblett will happen: "Would be absolutely huge"

Michael Chandler believes he could face Paddy Pimblett in the very near future. Chandler is coming off a decision loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 in his return to the Octagon. Following the loss, Chandler called out Conor McGregor but with the Irishman dealing with legal issues, his future is in doubt. With that, Chandler doesn’t have a clear-cut next opponent, but one fight that he does have an interest in is Pimblett.

“The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung isn’t likely to return to the Octagon, but he won’t rule out the possibility entirely. Jung’s last pro MMA fight took place back in August 2023. He fought Max Holloway in the main event of a UFC Singapore card. “The Korean Zombie” fought his heart out, just as he always has. With that said, Jung was knocked out in the third round and hung up his gloves for good.
Alexander Gustafsson will "most likely accept" deal for BKFC fight with fellow MMA veteran

The former UFC light heavyweight title challenger recently signed with upstart MMA promotion Global Fight League (GFL), and is reportedly close to inking a deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). In a recent interview with Matias Andres of Maximum Sports, Gustafsson’s manager Majdi Shammas opened up on his client’s deal with GFL.

Joe Rogan is uncertain if we’ll ever see UFC star Conor McGregor back in the Octagon. On Nov. 22, a jury in Dublin, Ireland’s High Court ruled McGregor was civically liable for sexually assaulting a woman named Nikita Hand in local hotel room in 2018. The court ordered the former two-division UFC champion to pay just shy of $260,000 in damages, and the fallout continued from there, as many of his corporate partners — including his beloved Proper No. 12 whiskey — cut ties with him.
