Former UFC flyweight champion Alexandre Pantoja will get a crack at getting his former title back, reportedly at UFC 331. After UFC flyweight champion Joshua Van defeated Tatsuro Taira in one of the wildest fights of the year at UFC 328, the current champ seemed destined to run it back with former titleholder Alexander Pantoja. Pantoja lost the UFC flyweight title to Van after suffering an arm injury just minutes into their fight at UFC 317.

Tom Aspinall insists he is ready to step back inside the Octagon. Aspinall has had his gripes with the UFC brass, but perhaps things have simmered down. The reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion recently posted a video on his YouTube page where he reacted to Conor McGregor’s knee injury during the UFC 329 show closer. In the video, Aspinall revealed that he’s simply waiting on a date for his next fight.

Dustin Poirier wonders if Conor McGregor hasn’t been taking care of his body the way that he used to. McGregor was set to make his highly-anticipated return to the Octagon in the UFC 329 main event. While the fight started and there were strikes thrown, there wasn’t much of a bout at all. McGregor suffered a right knee injury and his opponent, Max Holloway, refused to pounce when he realized that the Irishman hurt himself off a jumping kick. Referee Mike Beltran stopped the fight, and McGregor’s return ended in disaster.

Daniel Cormier doesn’t feel Conor McGregor should be vilified for attempting his home run kick against Max Holloway, which ultimately led to his injury. Cormier witnessed the unforeseen ending to McGregor’s MMA return during the UFC 329 main event. The UFC Hall of Famer was on the call when the “Notorious” one attempted an early blitz against Holloway this past Saturday. Within a matter of seconds, McGregor seemingly blew out his right knee. “Blessed” knew something was off, and referee Mike Beltran eventually put an end to the fight that never really got going.

In the opening moments of his fight against Max Holloway, he seemed to pick up an injury to his knee. Within just over a minute, the contest was over, and Conor had lost as a result of an injury for the second straight fight.

The Olympic gold medalist continued his streak of first-round knockouts by stopping Ellison inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Steveson was in harm’s way on his journey to victory, and many agree that he’ll need to work on his defense.

Conor McGregor’s longtime coach has spoken out after his fighter suffered an injury during the UFC 329 main event. McGregor was hoping to turn back the clock with a vintage performance in his first fight since 2021. The “Notorious” one’s bout five years ago ended when he broke his left leg, and his return concluded with a right leg injury. McGregor went for a jumping kick early in his fight with Max Holloway, but he landed awkwardly on the canvas. It was clear to Holloway and McGregor that something was wrong before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.

Early in the fight, McGregor went for a jumping kick, but he appeared to land awkwardly on his right leg. McGregor had issues moving around before the fight was stopped due to the injury.
