Combat sports fans could soon be offered a smorgasbord of action the likes of which we have never seen before, featuring UFC, boxing and WWE all in one night. That’s according to a new report from Wrestling Informer, who claim “a mega card” featuring “UFC, boxing, and WWE all on the same event” is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia “this year or next.”

According to a recent report, boxing stars Dmitry Bivol and David Benavidez could collide this summer. The undisputed light-heavyweight boxing champion is fresh off his return to the ring in February. There, Dmitry Bivol met Artur Beterbiev in a rematch of their classic title fight from last fall. The younger boxer stated pre-fight that he had to be more active to get the nod in the second bout, and he did exactly that.

Matchroom Boxing’s Eddie Hearn isn’t afraid of Dana White or Turki Alalshikh. Earlier this week, the UFC CEO and Saudi Arabian promoter announced plans to form a new boxing league. While a lot is still unknown about the new promotion, they’re expected to start holding events as soon as September. Furthermore, Dana White has stated that they plan to sign every big-name fighter they can.

Boxing megastar Canelo Alvarez has given his response to UFC CEO Dana White, TKO, and Turki Alalshikh aligning to start a new promotion. White has long teased dipping his toes back in the boxing waters. He even donned a Zuffa Boxing shirt during the buildup to the 2017 crossover match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor. Over the next few years, White began to sour on a possible boxing venture due to the sport’s business model. Things have changed now that TKO and Alalshikh are involved.

After promoting Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor in 2017, Dana White announced ‘Zuffa Boxing’. Almost a decade after that superfight, the promoter’s plans could finally be coming to fruition. Earlier today, White, and Turki Alalshikh made a big announcement.

White had teased creating his own boxing promotion since he was hyping up Conor McGregor’s boxing match with Floyd Mayweather back in 2017. The UFC boss wore a Zuffa Boxing shirt, but he appeared to sour on the idea of a venture into boxing before Saudi Arabia got involved.

Dillon Danis appears to be focused on Tony Ferguson rather than his upcoming boxing match against KSI. Danis is set to make his return to the boxing ring against KSI on March 29. After he boxes KSI, he will be fighting Tony Ferguson in the GFL, which Ferguson revealed will take place on May 11 in Los Angeles.

The popular YouTube star is set to throw down with Danis inside the boxing ring on March 29. Before fight night a press conference was held to build up the matchup. The presser ended with a staredown between KSI and Danis, and things got physical.

The two battled it out in a really fascinating encounter and in the end, the judges ruled it a majority draw. While the scoring was solid, many questioned the fact that the referee didn’t rule Gervonta’s intentional knee as a knockdown in the ninth round.

Boxing coach Malik Scott has weighed in on Francis Ngannou vs. Deontay Wilder. ‘The Predator’ recently came out and discussed a return to the boxing ring. Last appearing in the cage last October in his knockout win over Renan Ferreira, Francis Ngannou has publicly called for a clash with Deontay Wilder. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ is coming off lopsided losses to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, but is still considered one of the hardest punchers alive.

Former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson nearly signed a deal to face KSI in the boxing ring. ‘El Cucuy’ hasn’t been seen in action since his clash with Michael Chiesa last August at UFC Abu Dhabi. Heading into the matchup, Tony Ferguson was riding a seven-fight losing streak, leading Dana White to say the bout would be his last in the promotion. Sadly for the former interim champion, he was submitted by ‘The Maverick’ last year.

Jake Paul shared his thoughts on the Gervonta “Tank” Davis vs. Lamont Roach controversy. Davis and Roach collided inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The bout ended in a majority draw, but it would’ve been a win for Roach if referee Steve Willis didn’t whiff on a clear knockdown call when “Tank’s” knee touched the canvas. It’s one of those moments that makes fight fans scream “typical boxing.”

Despite entering the boxing ring a heavy underdog, Ryan Garcia wound up knocking down ”The Dream’ three times en route to a decision win. Sadly for the young boxer, the win wouldn’t stand for long, as it was reversed to a no-contest following a failed drug test.

UFC light-heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has no interest in boxing Jake Paul. ‘Poatan’ is currently preparing for his return to the cage. Set for next month in Las Vegas, Alex Pereira will face rising contender Magomed Ankalaev. The bout will be the Brazilian’s first, since scoring a bloody stoppage win over Khalil Rountree last October. Around the time of that bout, Pereira was publicly discussing a bout against Jake Paul.

The two boxers fathers famously collided twice in their primes, having a legendary series of fights in the U.K. in the 1990s. Decades later, Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn were set to collide at The O2 Arena in London in October 2022. Sadly, the bout never happened.
