There, Ryan Garcia faced his former amateur rival, Devin Haney. The two fought six times in the amateurs, splitting the series at 3-3. Ultimately, it was Garcia who broke the tie with a dominant decision victory over ‘The Dream’ on DAZN pay-per-view.

The bout was viewed as one of the biggest boxing matches of the year going in, and it lived up to the hype. In the lightweight showcase, Davis scored an early knockdown in round two.

He was arrested at 2:50 p.m. ET Tuesday on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge of battery causing bodily harm, according to Broward County Sheriff’s Office records. Davis remains in custody after a Wednesday morning court hearing, where bail was set at $1,000, a jail official said.
