It appears that boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is unhappy with Manny Pacquiao’s announcement in December. At RIZIN 45 late last year, Manny Pacquiao was in attendance. Midway through the show, the previously retired boxer headed into the ring alongside promoter Nobuyuki Sakakibara. There, the former eight-division champion confirmed plans to fight in 2024 and even announced plans to rematch Floyd Mayweather.

However, almost as soon as Manny Pacquiao retired from boxing, he began to tease a comeback. Many figured that the boxer retired from fighting, mainly to focus on his run for President of the Philippines.

Kenneth Egano, a 22-year-old boxer, has passed away after competing in Manny Pacquiao’s promotion. Egano who was 7-1 with three wins by KO was facing Jason Facularin (4-1) at the Imus Sports Gymnasium in the Philippines last weekend in an eight-round fight that part of Manny Pacquiao‘s TV show “Blow by Blow”, which features boxers on smaller cards. After a hard-fought battle, when the final bell rang and just before they were set to announce Egano as the winner, he collapsed in his corner.

Pound-for-pound boxing great Manny Pacquiao is reportedly facing a lawsuit after allegedly breaching his contract to fight Errol Spence Jr. According to Lance Pugmire of The Athletic, manager Audie Attar — who also manages UFC superstar Conor McGregor — filed a breach-of-contract lawsuit against the legendary boxing champion Manny Pacquiao. The report states that Attar is seeking to recoup a $3.3 million advance and requesting an injunction to stop Pacquiao’s scheduled Aug. 21 welterweight title fight against Errol Spence Jr. In the lawsuit, Attar says that he was negotiating a matchup between Pacquiao and Mikey Garcia. Allegedly, Pacquiao left Paradigm to work with Al Haymon’s Premier Boxing Champions and fight Spence Jr.
