It was a big fight for the Brazilian lightweight, as he did battle in enemy territory. It was a big chance for him to derail his opponent’s hype train, and that’s exactly what he did with a TKO finish via doctor’s stoppage.

In the main event, Moicano was going into enemy territory and entered the bout on a four-fight winning streak. Saint-Denis, meanwhile, was coming off a stoppage loss to Dustin Poirier back in March.
