UFC announced McGregor’s return bout will be a rematch against Max Holloway to cap off International Fight Week. McGregor last fought Holloway all the way back in 2013. Despite tearing his ACL, McGregor won the fight via unanimous decision.

Carano hasn’t been in a pro MMA fight since 2009, while Rousey’s most recent bout took place in late 2016. The two women’s MMA pioneers will headline Most Valuable Promotion’s first MMA event inside the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. The event will be streamed live on Netflix.

A gunman rushed through security and fired off his gun, striking a police officer this past weekend. The officer survived and the gunman was restrained. In the midst of the chaos, White didn’t seem fazed. He even told USA Today that he felt the experience was “[expletive] awesome.”

The bout will be contested at welterweight.

While Pimblett had some moments, he was battered on his way to a unanimous decision loss.

Gaethje and Pimblett shared the bright lights in the headlining spot of UFC’s debut on Paramount+. With some fresh eyeballs on their fight, Gaethje and Pimblett were also vying for the interim UFC Lightweight Championship. It was Gaethje who got the better of “The Baddy,” scoring a unanimous decision victory in a slugfest.

The professional bout is scheduled for eight, three-minute rounds. Credible boxing experts have picked Joshua to finish Paul early unless he wants to drag things out. Some MMA fighters have gone against the grain and picked “El Gallo” to pull off the massive upset.

Van was challenging for the UFC Flyweight Championship. Early on, Pantoja injured his shoulder while trying to break his fall. The fight was called off and Van was awarded the win.

With the win, “Poatan” is now a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. During his post-fight speech, Pereira called for a moment of silence for Jones’ brother, Arthur, who passed away on Oct. 3. Pereira told reporters that his plan had been to call out “Bones” for a fight at the White House next year.

A former UFC slugger has a message for other fighters in the wake of Wanderlei Silva’s post-fight disaster. Silva recently had a boxing match that went awry. He shared the ring with Acelino Frietas in the main event of Spaten Fight Night 2. “The Axe Murderer” was disqualified after delivering multiple headbutts to his opponent. A brawl between both teams began in the ring and it ended after Frietas’ son, Rafael, knocked Silva out cold.

A former UFC bruiser has weighed in on the horrific incident involving Raja Jackson during an independent wrestling show. Raja, who is the son of Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was a guest for KnokX Pro Wrestling this past weekend. Raja was filmed backstage when he had an incident with wrestler Skyo Stu. Raja was mistaken for an in-ring talent, and Stu used what appeared to be a gimmicked beer can to hit him in the head.

Did Conor McGregor lose his identity as a fighter years ago? McGregor hasn’t fought inside the Octagon since UFC 264, which took place on July 10, 2021. McGregor broke his leg in a trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier. He had been scheduled to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in 2024, but the “Notorious” one pulled out of the fight due to an injury. The bout was never rebooked, but McGregor continues to tease a return to competition.

Renato Moicano’s comments on the UFC antitrust lawsuit settlement have garnered heavy criticism from one former slugger. Moicano turned plenty of heads within the MMA community when he revealed on social media that he is refusing to take the money owed to him from the settlement. Moicano argued that he had already agreed to the terms of his previous contract, and he doesn’t feel the need to accept the settlement pay.
