Geoff Neal’s head coach Sayif Saud has taken aim at Ian Machado Garry over the t-shirt he was seen wearing at UFC 290. Garry and Neal are set to fight on August 19 at UFC 292 and at UFC 290, Garry was seen wearing a t-shirt with Neal’s mugshot on it. The t-shirt immediately got fans talking and to no surprise, Saud and Neal both saw it and the Fortis MMA head coach doesn’t think it was very smart of Garry to wear it.

Jake Paul is still willing to fight Nate Diaz in the PFL cage after their August boxing match. ‘The Problem Child’ has been out of action since his split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February. That was the first loss of the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s career thus far. Following the defeat, Jake Paul signaled his next fight would be a rematch with ‘TNT’, but quickly changed course.

If Dana White ever needs to make a gimmick fight, former UFC champion Francis Ngannou is around. Earlier this month, ‘The Predator’ announced his boxing debut against Tyson Fury. That fight had been long in the making, as ‘The Gypsy King’ previously faced off with Francis Ngannou last April. The two heavyweight champions shared the ring for a brief moment after Fury’s knockout win over Dillian Whyte.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson doesn’t care much about the Hall of Fame. The former champion has been out of action since a December 2019 clash with Fedor Emelianenko. ‘The Last Emperor’ wound up scoring a knockout win over Rampage Jackson that night, finishing him in the first. That fight was the last bout on the latter’s contract, and he became a free agent after the Bellator 237 defeat.

Since then, he has gone 17-2 in the promotion and is ranked second at welterweight. However, following his 26-second win over Goiti Yamauchi due to injury, Page revealed on The MMAHour that he is now a free agent and is set to explore his options.

The heavyweight collision will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Rumors have been floating around about Ngannou’s payout, but regardless of what holds true, “The Predator” is in for a massive payday.

Istela Nunes didn’t have a great night at UFC Vegas 77. Nunes took on Viktoriya Dudakova on the preliminary portion of the card. Early in the round, Dudakova went for a takedown. Istela Nunes was falling to the mat and tried to use her arm to minimize the impact. Instead, Nunes’ arm bent backwards and she was screaming in pain. The bout was stopped and Dudakova was awarded the TKO win.

Jack Della Maddalena barely managed to keep his winning streak intact at UFC Vegas 77. Maddalena shared the Octagon with Bassil Hafez. Jack Della Maddalena was supposed to compete on the UFC 290 card, but after two opponents couldn’t compete, Maddalena was moved to UFC Vegas 77. His fight with Hafez went the distance and the judges were split on the result. One judge scored the fight 29-28 in favor of Hafez. That score total was overruled by the two other judges who scored the bout 29-28 for Maddalena, who won via split decision.

Mayra Bueno Silva isn’t wasting time, as she is shooting her shot. Silva scored the biggest win of her pro MMA career in the main event of UFC Vegas 77 this past Saturday night (July 15). “Sheetara” went one-on-one with former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm. Mayra Bueno Silva secured a second-round standing choke, and it forced Holm to tap.

This is an important fight for both women to remain in the title picture at 135 pounds.
