UFC lightweight contender Paddy Pimblett doesn’t expect to face Logan Paul anytime soon. ‘The Baddy’ has been out of the cage since a controversial unanimous decision win over Jared Gordon in December. That was the Scouser’s fourth in the UFC, but it came at a cost. Many felt that ‘Flash’ deserved the nod at UFC 282. Furthermore, Paddy Pimblett suffered an ankle injury, resulting in a long layoff.

UFC bantamweight prospect Raul Rosas Jr. has a message for the rest of the roster. ‘El Nino Problema’ has been out of the cage since his clash with Christian Rodriguez in April. The bantamweight prospect was back just four months after his debut, a submission win over Jay Perrin. Heading into the contest, Raul Rosas Jr. was a massive favorite opening up the main card.

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski underwent successful surgery on his elbow. After Volkanovski defended his featherweight title back at UFC 290 with a TKO win over Yair Rodriguez, he revealed he was a bit banged up and would likely need surgery. On Tuesday, Volkanovski announced on his social media that his surgery on his shoulder was successful.

Islam Makhachev is hoping to fight Leon Edwards next time out. Makhachev is the UFC’s reigning lightweight champ and is coming off a decision win over Alexander Volkanovski back in February. Since then, he has been campaigning to get a fight but nothing has come to fruition. As well, with Charles Oliveira saying he won’t be ready in October, there is no clear-cut next contender for Makhachev to defend his belt against. With that, Makhachev is looking to fight for the UFC’s welterweight title in October in Abu Dhabi.

Henry Cejudo is sharing the ‘path to victory’ for Dricus Du Plessis in his upcoming UFC title fight with Israel Adesanya. Dricus Du Plessis (20-2 MMA) is hot off a TKO victory at 2:23 of Round 2 over Robert Whittaker (25-7 MMA) earlier this month at UFC 290.

Jai Herbert will be fighting in London for the fourth straight time. Herbert will be taking on Fares Ziam at UFC London on Saturday and is coming off a draw against L’udovit Klein back in March. Prior to that, he beat Kyle Nelson in July and lost to Ilia Topuria by KO the previous March. Although this is Herbert’s fourth straight fight in London, he says he still is excited to fight at home and put on a show for his people.

Chael Sonnen is sharing his theory on Holly Holm’s recent setback at UFC Vegas 77. It was just last Saturday, July 15th, that Holly Holm (15-7 MMA) was defeated at 0:38 of round 2 by Mayra Bueno Silva (11-2 MMA) in the main event bantamweight bout. With the loss, the 41-year-old ‘The Preacher’s Daughter’ has been eliminated from the pool of challengers for the belt.

Nate Diaz is reacting to Jake Paul’s $10 million offer for an MMA fight. Diaz, 38, last fought in the Octagon in September of last year, defeating Tony Ferguson (25-8 MMA) via guillotine choke at 2:52 of round 4. It was to be Diaz’s final fight of his UFC contract.

Stipe Miocic has given his thoughts on Jon Jones winning the ESPY for Fighter of the Year courtesy of his win over Ciryl Gane. At UFC 295 in November, Stipe Miocic returns to the Octagon. He’ll do so to face Jon Jones for the UFC heavyweight championship in the main event at Madison Square Garden. In the eyes of many, it’s the biggest fight of the year in the UFC – and one of the most important in recent memory.

UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has revealed that he plans on training with Jon Jones in the future. In a bizarre turn of events, Israel Adesanya and Jon Jones appear to be friends. At the very least, there’s a mutual respect there, which didn’t appear to be present when they previously went back and forth on social media. The two ran into each other recently and appeared to be having a great time, squashing the beef they held for so long.

UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett has explained why he’s going to be more disciplined with his diet moving forward. Ever since his controversial win over Jared Gordon, Paddy Pimblett has had to face a lot of criticism. Many have decided to focus on his in-cage ability, whereas others have raised an eyebrow over his weight gain. Between fights, it’s been well documented that Paddy tends to balloon up in weight, even noting previously that he feels he has an eating disorder.

Later this month, Paulo Costa was scheduled to go head to head with Ikram Aliskerov at UFC 291. Unfortunately, as per recent reports, Costa has had to pull out. Instead, Roman Dolidze is expected to take his place on short notice.

Kevin Lee has no regrets from his UFC career but does wish a specific fight had gone his way. Lee fought 19 times in the UFC going 11-8 and even fought for the interim lightweight title. However, Lee lost that fight by submission to Tony Ferguson. Although Kevin Lee lost two fights to Al Iaquinta who was his rival, he wishes the Ferguson fight played out much differently.

Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has given his side of his face-off with Dricus du Plessis. ‘The Last Stylebender’ was last seen at UFC 290 earlier this month. The middleweight champion was in attendance to support his friend and teammate, Alexander Volkanovski, who was in the main event. While ‘The Great’ scored a stoppage win over Yair Rodriguez, Israel Adesanya was also there for another reason.

Geoff Neal’s head coach Sayif Saud has taken aim at Ian Machado Garry over the t-shirt he was seen wearing at UFC 290. Garry and Neal are set to fight on August 19 at UFC 292 and at UFC 290, Garry was seen wearing a t-shirt with Neal’s mugshot on it. The t-shirt immediately got fans talking and to no surprise, Saud and Neal both saw it and the Fortis MMA head coach doesn’t think it was very smart of Garry to wear it.

Jake Paul is still willing to fight Nate Diaz in the PFL cage after their August boxing match. ‘The Problem Child’ has been out of action since his split-decision loss to Tommy Fury in February. That was the first loss of the YouTuber-turned-boxer’s career thus far. Following the defeat, Jake Paul signaled his next fight would be a rematch with ‘TNT’, but quickly changed course.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Rampage Jackson doesn’t care much about the Hall of Fame. The former champion has been out of action since a December 2019 clash with Fedor Emelianenko. ‘The Last Emperor’ wound up scoring a knockout win over Rampage Jackson that night, finishing him in the first. That fight was the last bout on the latter’s contract, and he became a free agent after the Bellator 237 defeat.

Francis Ngannou has detailed the rematch clause for his upcoming boxing match against Tyson Fury. Ngannou and Fury are set to box on October 28 in a professional bout – although the heavyweight title is not on the line. However, it will be a highly-anticipated matchup as it serves as Ngannou’s boxing debut and his first fight since leaving the UFC.
