UFC legend Georges St. Pierre criticized Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Simon Benoit for his fight on Monday night. The Maple Leafs took on the Utah Hockey Club on the road and midway through the second period, Benoit got into a fight with Michael Kesserling. Before the two even grabbed each other, Benoit jumped and threw a superman punch.

Justin Gaethje badly wants a fight against UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. ‘The Highlight’ is fresh off his return to the octagon at UFC 313 over the weekend. Appearing in the co-main event, Justin Gaethje faced Rafael Fiziev. The bout was his first since his devastating knockout loss to Max Holloway last April. While the former ‘BMF’ titleholder was coming off a brutal stoppage defeat, it didn’t look that way on Saturday.

Jamahal Hill is confident ahead of his UFC Kansas City headliner against Khalil Rountree. ‘Sweet Dreams’ hasn’t been seen in the octagon since his clash against Jiri Prochazka in January. Ending a near yearlong layoff following a loss to Alex Pereira at UFC 300, Jamahal Hill hoped to get back on the right track. Sadly for the former champion, Prochazka knocked him down several times en route to a third-round stoppage win.

Fresh off a loss to Justin Gaethje at UFC 313, Rafael Fiziev is interested in a move down in weight. The 32-year-old striker was last seen in the cage against ‘The Highlight’ on Saturday. Stepping up on short notice, Rafael Fiziev again met Justin Gaethje. At UFC 286 in early 2023, the former interim lightweight champion handed ‘Ataman’ a close unanimous decision loss. Despite entering the bout on just two weeks’ notice, Fiziev was confident.

Roman Dolidze is hoping to get another rematch if he beats Nassourdine Imavov at UFC Vegas 104. Dolidze is set to headline the Fight Night card against Vettori on Saturday. Dolidze lost a close decision, which was a three-round fight and he enters the bout as a +134 underdog on FanDuel.

Patricio “Pitbull” Freire is planning to make his UFC debut an emphatic one. It’s been a long time coming for Freire, who will finally step inside the Octagon for the first time at UFC 314 on April 12. The former multiple-time Bellator champion will be facing Yair Rodriguez inside Kaseya Center in Miami.

One former UFC fan favorite doesn’t believe Alex Pereira was exposed at UFC 313. Pereira lost the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship after five rounds of action against Magomed Ankalaev. “Poatan” didn’t get to move forward nearly as much as he’s used to. Ankalaev forced Pereira to back up, making him the aggressor in the fight. This paid off, as the judges scored the fight for Ankalaev via unanimous decision.

The UFC was at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, for a solid UFC 313 card that saw the Alex Pereira defending his title in the main event. In the main event, Alex Pereira was defending his light heavyweight title against Magomed Ankalaev. The co-main event saw a pivotal lightweight bout go down as Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev in a rematch.

Reigning ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues retained her gold in emphatic fashion this past weekend. The Brazilian is remaining is fight mode, though, as she stalks a bigger challenge down the road.  The striking phenom dispatched Marie McManamon at ONE Fight Night 29 this past Friday, March 7, inside Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium. Rodrigues outstruck the British-Irish challenger to score a third-round knockout and retain her crown.

Rising Thai striker Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon continued punching his way up the ONE Championship ranks. And the youngster is determined not to stop until he has the attention of a true sporting great.  The 21-year-old star scored a second-round knockout over fellow staunch finisher Parham Gheirati at ONE Fight Night 29 on Friday, March 7, inside Bangkok, Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium.

Last weekend, Jalin Turner suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Ignacio Bahamondes. He’s been through some big highs and some notable lows in the UFC, and it appears as if he’s ready for the next chapter in his life and career.

Despite entering the title bout a heavy underdog, Paul Hughes brought the fight to the undefeated Russian. For five rounds, the two young lightweights went back-and-forth in the main event of PFL Champions Series 1.

There, Magomed Ankalaev finally challenged for light-heavyweight gold, facing the red-hot Alex Pereira. ‘Poatan’ entered the bout riding three-straight title defenses, last knocking out Khalil Rountree in October.

Beneil Dariush is open to fighting Mauricio Ruffy after the Brazilian got a highlight-reel KO win at UFC 313. Ruffy scored a spinning wheel kick KO over King Green on Saturday. After the win, the Brazilian called out Dariush and he was quick to respond and showed interest in the bout.
