The Octagon returned to Abu Dhabi for today’s UFC 267 event, a fourteen-bout fight card headlined by Jan Blachowicz vs Glover Teixeira. The highly anticipated light heavyweight title fight proved to be a dominant showing for the 42-year-old veteran in Glover Teixeira. The Brazilian legend was able to secure a takedown early in round one and proceeded to smother Jan Blachowicz for the remainder of the round. Then, in round two, Glover once again got the fight to the canvas and this time locked in a fight-ending rear-naked choke submission hold.

Claressa Shields, current PFL MMA lightweight and two-time Olympic gold medalist in boxing, recently shared her feelings on Paul when asked if she’d ever work with the YouTube sensation. Stating that she’d “never fight on the undercard of Jake Paul,” it led Paul to clap back at Shields following her first career MMA loss this past Wednesday against Abigail Montes at the 2021 PFL Championship.

The two fought back at UFC 245 in December of 2019 where Usman won by fifth-round TKO in a back-and-forth fight.

Nate Diaz has responded after Dana White suggested he has to ask himself if he wants to fight the young savages in the UFC. Diaz (20-13 MMA) was last seen in action at June’s UFC 263 event, where despite mounting a late comeback, he ultimately suffered a unanimous decision loss to Leon Edwards. The setback marked Nate’s second in a row and put him on the final fight of his current contract with the UFC.
