While Blaydes has been racking up wins consistently, some have knocked him for not having enough standout performances. That certainly changed on this night as “Razor” floored Daukaus with a punch and ended the fight with ground-and-pound in the second round.

Nate Diaz has asked for his release from the UFC and fellow fighters have taken notice. Diaz has always been known to beat to his own drum. The Stockton native has only taken fights that he feels make sense for him. He has expressed frustration with the UFC throughout his run and things haven’t gotten better.

Khabib Nurmagomedov has received some unwanted attention from political commentator Candace Owens. When word broke that Jorge Masvidal allegedly attacked Colby Covington in a restaurant in Miami, it left some within the MMA community conflicted. On one hand, Masvidal had 25 minutes to make Colby pay for his trash talk at UFC 272 but couldn’t deliver. On the other hand, Masvidal and Colby have both said it’s “on sight” when they see each other.
