Now, though, the strap is held by Dricus du Plessis – a man who has had a feud with ‘Stylebender’ for quite some time.

Diaz will face former UFC 244 foe Jorge Masvidal in a professional boxing matchup this Saturday in Anaheim. He returns to the boxing ring after a loss to Jake Paul in his professional debut last year by unanimous decision.
UFC officially releases Travis Browne from his contract, despite not fighting since 2017

Travis Browne is officially no longer a UFC fighter. Browne fought in the UFC from 2010 until 2017 and while USADA was administering drug tests, his name frequently came up as one of the more popular fighters who got drug tested, despite not being active. After his last bout in 2017, White had said that it would be his last fight, and that has proved been the case.

Pereira announced in a since-deleted social media post that he and Hernandez will feature on the UFC’s upcoming Las Vegas Sphere card on September 14th. MMA journalist Laerte Viana later confirmed the targeted booking after Pereira deleted his announcement.

Seven months after their first fight, Pereira and Procházka were called upon to save UFC 303 after Conor McGregor’s withdrawal due to injury.
