Tyson Fury reacts to points win over Otto Wallin

Tyson Fury maintained his undefeated record by beating Otto Wallin to a points win on Saturday evening. The Boxers collided at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. Tyson Fury was the superior boxer, but damage inflicted on his face significantly impacted his fight performance. Fury received a gaping cut to his right eye at the hands of his Swedish opponent but fought through valiantly. Wallin’s punch in the third round drew blood which noticeably distracted Fury. However, with blood running down his face, Fury powered on and delivered some destructive shots. Fury was forced to go to the hospital after the fight and miss the post-fight press conference.

Tyson Fury shares bold prediction for rematch with Deontay Wilder

Tyson Fury is expected to rematch Deontay Wilder in early 2020 after their first fight ended in a controversial draw. Since then, Fury has been reflecting on the fight and it’s outcome. “The Gypsy King” believes it wasn’t a fair playing field in their initial encounter,  and doesn’t think that will change for the rematch.

Current WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was not all that impressed after Tyson Fury defeated Tom Schwarz via second round TKO this weekend. Fury had made it look easy against the previously undefeated Schwarz. The ‘Gypsy King’ dropped the German fighter in round two before eventually forcing the referee to step in and call the contest after unloading a flurry of punches.

Tyson Fury shares plans for 2020 rematch with Deontay Wilder

Last night, heavyweight boxing star Tyson Fury put on a show, pummeling the out-matched Tom Schwarz to a second-round knockout. Shortly after this victory, the Brit called for a rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, who he battled to a controversial draw in December. Fury plans to fight once more on October 5, possibly in New York, then rematch Wilder in 2020. He vowed to give an even better performance when he meets the American knockout artist for a second time.

Although they all haven’t all fought each other, many rank them as the top-four. And, UFC president, Dana White agrees. In an interview with BT Sport, he decided to rank the four of them. There, he says Tyson Fury is the best heavyweight boxer right now.

When Deontay Wilder fought Tyson Fury back in December it was one of the marquee boxing fights of the year. There, “The Gypsy King” seemed to be winning the fight until “The Bronze Bomber” hit him with a combination of strikes that knocked him down. Miraculously Fury got up from brutal knockdown and fought the final minutes of the fight. And, when the scorecards were read it was announced a draw, the expectation was an immediate rematch would happen. But, that was not the case. Rather, Deontay Wilder took on Dominic Breazeale and is now slated to rematch Luis Ortiz in September.

Tyson Fury expects rematch with Deontay Wilder in Spring 2020

Despite the fantastic performance by Deontay Wilder this past weekend in his first-round knockout victory, boxing fans will have to wait a while before seeing a rematch between Wilder and Tyson Fury. During an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN, the “Gypsy King” Fury was a guest and announced that he expects a rematch to happen with Wilder in the spring of 2020. Many anticipated a rematch between Wilder and Fury would happen right away after their thrilling draw last December, but that is not the case according to Fury.

Tyson Fury weighs in on Conor McGregor's recent troubles

One fighting star has taken notice of another, although they compete in two different sports. During an appearance on Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN, boxing superstar Tyson Fury was asked about his thoughts on former UFC lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor and the “Gypsy King” had plenty of praise for “The Notorious”. Helwani asked Fury what his thoughts were on McGregor and included some of the recent trouble McGregor has found himself in, and Fury not only called McGregor a game-changer, but said it’s more about what lessons Conor McGregor learns from his mistakes.

Last night, undefeated WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder delivered yet another violent, one-punch knockout, this time at the expense of challenger Dominic Breazeale. Tyson Fury, who battled Wilder to a draw late last year, was watching this fight closely. Speaking in a short video posted to his Instagram, Tyson Fury shared his thoughts on his rival’s destructive performance. He sang the praises of Wilder at length, but ultimately reasserted his belief that he deserved to win his 2018 draw with the American, and proclaimed himself the true king of the heavyweights.

Report | Tyson Fury gets opponent for summer return

According to a report from ESPN, lineal heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury (27-0-1, 19 KOs) will return to the ring on June 15 opposite Germany’s Tom Schwarz (24-0, 16 KOs). This bout will be broadcast on ESPN+ (get a free trial here). It is being targeted for Las Vegas, but a venue has not yet been confirmed. Tyson Fury has not fought since a headline dominating December showdown with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder. Fury outfought his rival for the vast majority of the fight, but was on the receiving end of the bout’s only two knockdowns — including a 12th-round scare that very nearly ended the fight.

Tyson Fury inks ESPN deal reportedly worth more than $100m

That Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder rematch that, just days ago, seemed like an imminent possibility? Let’s just pump the brakes on all of that talk. In a surprising twist, Fury has signed a multi-fight deal to be co-promoted by Top Rank Boxing, which means his fights will broadcast on ESPN in the United States (he’ll still be viewable on BT Sport in the UK). He is also expected to fight twice a year on US soil.
