After Paul earned a split decision victory over Tyron Woodley at the end of August, it appeared the two agreed to a rematch in the ring, but nothing has been finalized since. According to Paul, with Woodley not getting the tattoo, he says the rematch is likely off the table.

Former UFC champion Vitor Belfort promised the fans an “epic” boxing match against legendary boxer Evander Holyfield this Saturday night. Belfort returns to the pro boxing ring for the first time in 15 years when he takes on Holyfield this weekend for Triller Fight Club. Belfort was originally set to fight Oscar De La Hoya, but the fight was scrapped when De La Hoya had to withdraw due to COVID-19. Instead, Holyfield stepped up on short notice and will now take on Belfort this Saturday.

Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley provided an update on the “I love Jake Paul” tattoo and a potential rematch between them. The original bet between Woodley and Paul was that the loser of the fight was supposed to get a tattoo of the other’s name, but Woodley didn’t end up getting the tattoo. Instead, “The Chosen One” told “The Problem Child” following his split decision loss that he would get the tattoo if Paul gave him the rematch. The two shook hands in the ring that night, but so far we haven’t heard of any date for the said rematch between these two men.

Before Saturday night’s big Triller Fight Club boxing event, check out the Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort fight card and start times. Triller holds its next big event this Saturday at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida. The main event of the card features an eight-round heavyweight boxing match between the legendary boxer Holyfield and the former MMA superstar Belfort. Also on the card is the co-main event between former UFC champions Tito Ortiz and Anderson Silva. The card starts at 7 pm ET on Saturday night and is available for purchase on PPV.

Jake Paul says he entered his fight against Tyron Woodley with an injury. Paul headline a Showtime pay-per-view on Sunday, August 29 in hometown of Cleveland, Ohio and he won a split decision. Many thought the brash YouTuber-turned-boxer would win, and many thought by KO. However, in the lead-up to the fight, Paul said just days before the fight, he hyperextended his elbow.

Evander Holyfield, who is 58-years-old, is making his return to boxing on Saturday against Vitor Belfort. Holyfield and Belfort are set to headline Triller Fight Club Legends 2 in Florida. Holyfield took the fight on about a weeks’ notice and many are worried about him returning to boxing at his age. Yet, on Wednesday, Holyfield had media workouts and he hit the pads which was the first time many saw him do so in years.

Anderson Silva wants to box Georges St-Pierre but doesn’t think Dana White will allow it. Since being released by the UFC, Silva has turned to boxing and beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. in June. He will now face Tito Ortiz on Saturday on Triller Fight Club, but one name he wants to box Georges St-Pierre, yet he doubts that happens.

Former UFC welterweight Dan Hardy slammed “sack of sh*t” Tyron Woodley following his “embarrassing” recent boxing match with Jake Paul. Hardy was recently given his full release from his UFC contract and he has been targeting a comeback to combat sports. There have been talks about him potentially fighting kickboxing legend John Wayne Parr, but in a recent interview, Hardy confirmed that he is also considering taking a boxing match. One of the names he wants to fight is Woodley.

Ryan Kavanaugh, the CEO of Triller Fight Club claims Mike Tyson is scared to fight Evander Holyfield. Tyson made his return to the ring under the Triller Fight Club Legends banner last November as he fought Roy Jones Jr. to a draw. Since then, Tyson has said he would be in the ring soon, but according to Kavanaugh, he claims Tyson doesn’t want to box Holyfield as he is scared to get knocked out.

Former UFC champion Vitor Belfort is currently the betting underdog for this weekend’s boxing match against the legend Evander Holyfield. The 44-year-old Belfort was supposed to fight fellow combat sports legend, 48-year-old Oscar De La Hoya, this weekend at Triller Fight Club’s upcoming boxing event, but the fight was canceled after De La Hoya contracted COVID-19. Instead of canceling the card, Triller was able to get Holyfield to step up on short notice and take the fight. However, the California State Athletic Commission did not sanction the fight due to Holyfield being 58 years old and taking the fight on one week’s notice. Instead, the card shifted to Florida.

Boxer Tommy Fury, the younger brother of Tyson Fury, predicts he would KO YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in less than three minutes. Fury defeated former Bellator fighter Anthony Taylor on the undercard of the Paul-Woodley PPV card last weekend in Cleveland, Ohio. Following the event, Fury and Paul met face-to-face backstage and Fury made it clear that he wants to fight Paul next. While Paul has said he’s open to the idea of it, so far the fight hasn’t been booked. As far as Fury goes, Paul wouldn’t last long with him inside of the ring and he understands why he is “ducking” him.

Former UFC champion Anderson Silva called the Tito Ortiz boxing match “a tough fight,” but he believes his technique will prevail. Silva takes on Ortiz this Saturday night on the Triller Fight Club card headlined by Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort. The fight will be contested at a catchweight of 195lbs, meaning Silva will be going up 10lbs from his regular 185lbs weight class in MMA, while Ortiz will be cutting down 10lbs from his normal weight class of 205lbs. Although the Ortiz vs. Silva booking still seems a little bizarre on the surface, it is still a somewhat intriguing matchup between two legends of mixed martial arts, only this time it’s taking place in the ring.

The 33-year-old Fury is undefeated in pro boxing with a 30-0-1 record. His next opponent will be rival Deontay Wilder, in a trilogy bout that was recently postponed due to COVID-19 issues. Either way, there are still big fights left for Fury in boxing, including a fight against Anthony Joshua, but he is always thinking about the next step, and it could involve MMA.

The upcoming Vitor Belfort vs. Evander Holyfield Triller boxing event was shifted to Florida after California refused to sanction the fight. Belfort was expected to fight Oscar De La Hoya next weekend, but the former boxing champ was forced to withdraw from the fight after contracting COVID-19. Rather than scrapping the entire event, the promotion was able to get a short-notice replacement in the form of Evander Holyfield to step in and take the fight against Belfort. However, because Holyfield is 58 years old, the California State Athletic Commission refused to sanction the fight to take place in the state. Instead, Triller will move the entire event to Florida.

Boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya has been deemed out of the Vitor Belfort boxing match, and Evander Holyfield is expected to step in instead. TMZ Sports first reported the news that De La Hoya is out of the Belfort fight, which was scheduled to take place on September 11. Instead, Belfort will fight Holyfield now, although the fight has not been officially sanctioned yet. Either way, De La Hoya is out of the fight and on Friday afternoon he announced to his fans he the reason he is out is due to COVID-19. According to De La Hoya, he is fully vaccinated but still contracted the coronavirus.

Boxing legend Mike Tyson says that Jake Paul deserved his boxing win over Tyron Woodley last weekend, stating that “Jake Paul won.” If there is someone who knows a thing or two about boxing, it’s Tyson, arguably the most popular boxer of the last 30 years. At last weekend’s big boxing event in Cleveland, Ohio, Paul was awarded a split decision nod over Woodley on the judges’ scorecards. While it seemed like most observers thought Paul did enough to edge out the win, there are some, however, who believe that Woodley deserved the nod. Tyson, though, disagrees.
