Back for the first time since a victory over Jaime Munguia in May, Canelo Alvarez will face Edgar Berlanga. ‘The Chosen One’ currently holds a 22-0 undefeated record and was chosen to face the middleweight champion over David Benavidez.

Algeria’s Imane Khelif won an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Summer Olympics after a controversial path through the competition. The 25-year-old Khelif defeated Chinese boxer Yang Liu in the women’s welterweight finals on Friday in Paris. She wrapped up an unbeaten run at the 2024 Summer Olympics with a gold medal, despite many calling for her disqualification after failing a gender eligibility test in 2023.

In the process, the Ukrainian became the first undisputed heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis. ‘The Lion’ accomplished that feat 25 years before Usyk vs. Fury.

Since turning all of his attention to boxing, Paul has found a ton of success going 10-1. Now, after seeing the USA struggling in Olympic boxing, he says he plans on qualifying for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.

Four-division boxing champion Terence Crawford believes Canelo Alvarez is avoiding him. ‘Bud’ is fresh off his return to the boxing ring over the weekend in California. Back for the first time since a destructive knockout of Errol Spence Jr. last summer, Terence Crawford faced Israil Madrimov. The bout was the former undisputed welterweight champion’s first up at 154 pounds. Crawford wanted the fight partially, to set the stage for a bout with Canelo Alvarez.
