Zahabi shared the Octagon with the legendary Jose Aldo inside Bell Centre in Montreal this past Saturday. Zahabi had to overcome adversity in the fight, as he was knocked down and forced to retreat before getting his opponent to the mat. The bout went the distance, and Zahabi was awarded the unanimous decision victory.

Valentina Shevchenko emerged victorious over Manon Fiorot on Saturday, but she doesn’t want her UFC 315 opponent to hold up her end of a bet. Shevchenko was able to overcome the size advantage that the challenger had. When Fiorot was able to win the grappling exchanges, she couldn’t muster up much damage. This allowed Shevchenko to take over the fight with her pinpoint striking, earning her a unanimous decision win.

While Muhammad was always in the fight, Maddalena was a step or two ahead of him most times. It led to a unanimous decision victory for Maddalena, who is the first UFC champion born in Perth.

UFC flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko isn’t 100% sure what her next move is after winning at UFC 315. In the co-main event of UFC 315, Valentina Shevchenko defended her territory. She was able to defeat Manon Fiorot and successfully defend her UFC women’s flyweight championship, even dropping her opponent in the process. While it was a close fight, the majority of pundits and fans scored it in favor of Shevchenko, who was able to prove that she’s far from done at the elite level.

He defeated Belal Muhammad via unanimous decision to become the new UFC welterweight champion. In doing so, he proved to the world that he is truly elite, and he proved that he can hang with the best of the best at 170 pounds. Of course, as tends to be the case more often than not at this level, the attention immediately shifted to what could be next for the Australian.
