Dustin Poirier has some more words to share in response to Colby Covington’s callout. Covington took care of business on March 5. In the UFC 272 headliner, Covington took on his former friend and training partner Jorge Masvidal. Covington had a couple of shaky moments but for the most part, his pressure and grappling were too much for “Gamebred” to handle.

Magomed Ankalaev no longer has interest in a clash with Anthony Smith. Ankalaev took center stage in the main event of UFC Vegas 50. He shared the Octagon with Thiago Santos. Ankalaev emerged victorious via unanimous decision. He feels a UFC Light Heavyweight Title shot is in order.

Henry Cejudo has found a way to show how impressed he is by Song Yadong while also taking shots at Dominick Cruz. This past Saturday night (March 12), Yadong competed on the UFC Vegas 50 card. He went one-on-one with former title challenger Marlon Moraes. Yadong scored a first-round knockout win.

The highly anticipated light heavyweight main event went the distance. Although Thiago Santos scored a knockdown in round two, it was the forward pressure and late wrestling of Magomed Ankalaev that proved to the difference.
