Daniel Cormier names one issue that could hinder Stipe Miocic's performance against Jon Jones at UFC 295

Daniel Cormier has revealed the one issue he feels could negatively impact Stipe Miocic at UFC 295. Miocic is set to challenge UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones. The two will meet inside Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 11. It’ll be Miocic’s first fight since he was knocked out by Francis Ngannou back in March 2021.

Yair Rodriguez has spoken out following his UFC 290 loss against Alexander Volkanovski. Rodriguez and Volkanovski shared the Octagon in the main event of the show. This was an undisputed UFC Featherweight Championship bout. Rodriguez was the interim titleholder going into the fight. Volkanovski ended up rocking Rodriguez in the third round before taking him down to the mat. From there, Alex Volkanovski finished the fight with ground-and-pound.

It was Alex Volkanovski who was moving up in weight to challenge for the 155-pound gold. Outside of his one career loss back in 2015, Makhachev has looked mostly dominant. The two traded leather inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, and fans in attendance certainly got their money’s worth. The title fight went the distance and Alexandre Pantoja emerged victorious via split decision.

While du Plessis was an underdog going into this pivotal middleweight bout, he shined bright with a second-round TKO victory. du Plessis has now punched his ticket for a shot at the UFC Middleweight Championship.

The Octagon remained in Nevada for tonight’s UFC 290 event, a fourteen-bout fight card headlined by Alex Volkanovski vs. Yair Rodriguez. The highly anticipated featherweight title unification bout proved to be another amazing performance from Alex Volkanovski. ‘The Great’ was able to utilize his wrestling in the early rounds to get off some heavy ground and pound. After blooding up ‘El Pantera’ on the canvas, the Aussie was able to drop Rodriguez with a right hand in round three. From there, he unleashed some nasty ground and pound which forced the referee to jump in and call the fight.
