ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong says Angela Lee will be providing an update on her career soon. It was back in December of 2022 that Victoria Lee passed away at the tender age of 18. Since then, both of her siblings, Angela and Christian Lee, have opted against competing and Sityodtong says there is no rush on them to fight again, despite their championship status. For now, he says he’s left the Lee family to grieve and deal with the heartbreaking news.

Bellator will be holding its 300 event and Usman Nurmagomedov will be defending his lightweight title on the card. Multiple sources informed BJPENN.com that Nurmagomedov will defend his title against Brent Primus, which also serves as the semifinals of the Bellator lightweight grand prix at Bellator 300. The event is set to go down on October 7 in San Diego, California. One source said this event could see multiple title fights on the card as it could be the final event in Bellator history. It’s also unclear if this fight will be the main event of the historic and potential final Bellator event.

In the main event of UFC Nashville, top-five bantamweights are set to throw down at a 140lbs catchweight as Cory Sandhagen takes on Rob Font. Heading into the scrap, Sandhagen is a sizeable -370 favorite while the Puerto Rican is a +265 underdog on FanDuel. Ahead of the fight, BJPENN.com reached out to several pro fighters to get their predictions for the scrap. Given Font is taking it on short notice as he was supposed to fight at UFC 292 in two weeks, the majority of pros expect Sandhagen to get the job done at UFC Nashville by decision.

While the Irishman made headlines with the callout, ‘The Highlight’ hasn’t shown much interest in the bout.

The Stockton slugger has been out of competition since a September submission win over Tony Ferguson. Following that win at UFC 279, Nate Diaz became a free agent for the first time in over a decade. He quickly zeroed in on a boxing match with Jake Paul as his next fight.

Ahead of his return, UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev has taken aim at Michael Chandler. The Russian has been out of action since his clash with Alexander Volkanovski in February at UFC 284. There, the two champions put on a show, going back and forth for 25 minutes. At the conclusion of the five-round contest, Islam Makhachev retained the lightweight gold by unanimous decision.

Dwayne Johnson took it a step further than meeting Themba Gorimbo. After Gorimbo revealed he had seven dollars in his bank account prior to this first UFC victory. He also said he would auction off his fight kit so he could help fund the building of a water well in his native village in Zimbabwe. His story caught the attention of ‘The Rock’ who went to Gorimbo’s gym and visited him.

Nate Diaz and Jake Paul’s teams got into an altercation after their faceoff on Thursday. Diaz and Paul had their press conference to help promote their fight on Saturday night in Dallas, Texas. The lead-up to the scrap hasn’t had much promotion, which Paul has been disappointed about. Yet, after Jake Paul and Nate Diaz had their faceoff, their teams got into a physical altercation.
