The Octagon returned to Boston for tonight’s UFC 292 event, a twelve-bout fight card headlined by Aljamain Sterling vs. Sean O’Malley. The highly anticipated bantamweight title fight resulted in a second-round TKO victory for Sean O’Malley. ‘Suga’ was able to keep the fight standing as long as it lasted and was able to connect with his heavy right hand early in the second round. That shot sent ‘Funkmaster’ crashing to the canvas, and O’Malley promptly finished the fight by landing some big ground and pound.

Marcus McGhee is now 2-0 with two Performance of the Night bonuses inside the Octagon. McGhee stepped up on short notice in his debut and beat Journey Newson by submission. He then was booked to fight JP Buys at UFC Vegas 78 where he won by first-round KO.

Max Holloway is disappointed in the government as the wildfires in Hawaii have raged on. Wildfires started to take over Maui and the death total reached over 110 with thousands of people missing. To make matters worse, Hawaii has one of the largest siren warning systems in the world, but the 80 alarms on Maui, stayed silent. Many citizens were confused as to why the sirens never went off and Max Holloway believes that is just one of the many things the government did to fail the people.

Former UFC light-heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz would love to challenge Tom Aspinall. The Polish fighter is fresh off his return at UFC 291 opposite Alex Pereira last month. Welcoming the former middleweight champion to light-heavyweight, Jan Blachowicz used his wrestling for a strong first round. However, ‘Poatan’ came from behind to score a unanimous decision win. Although, several fans and pundits believed that the longtime light-heavyweight deserved the nod that night.

Ian Machado Garry is confident he won’t just beat Neil Magny but will finish him with ease at UFC 292. Garry was originally supposed to fight Geoff Neal but the Texan was forced out of the matchup with an injury. Magny ended up taking the fight on a week’s notice, and with that, the Irishman is a heavy-betting favorite.

There, Nate Diaz faced Jake Paul, in a DAZN pay-per-view main event. Heading into the contest, the two were fired up and traded words over a fight in the ring, and also a rematch in the cage.
