UFC heavyweight contender Tom Aspinall believes Jon Jones was a little patronizing over the weekend. The British fighter returned to the cage on Saturday night in the main event of UFC London. There, Tom Aspinall was back for the first time since his stoppage loss to Curtis Blaydes last July, where he lost due to injury. Back at UFC London, the British fighter made up for lost time against Marcin Tybura.

The beef between Colby Covington and Jon Jones is alive and well. Over the years, Covington hasn’t been shy about slamming Jones in the media. “Chaos” has made things personal with his former college roommate. Covington has slammed Jones over his past legal issues and the picogram fiasco. He’s even urged the UFC Heavyweight Champion to, “Go do some more coke. Go cheat on your wife some more,” before calling Jones a “dirtbag” back in 2017.

Tom Aspinall is thrilled to have gotten the attention of UFC heavyweight titleholder Jon Jones. Aspinall headlined UFC London this past Saturday (July 22). He was matched up against Marcin Tybura inside The O2 Arena. This one didn’t last long, as Aspinall floored Tybura in the opening frame and followed that up with ground-and-pound to finish the fight just one minute and 13 seconds in. This earned Aspinall his fifth “Performance of the Night” bonus.

Heavyweight champion Jon Jones has responded after being called out by Tom Aspinall this afternoon at UFC London. Aspinall (13-3 MMA) was returning to action for the first time in twelve months this afternoon at the O2 Arena, squaring off with fellow heavyweight contender Marcin Tybura. The Manchester native had of course suffered a knee injury which required surgery in his most previous effort against Curtis Blaydes last July. That disappointing setback had snapped Aspinall’s eight-fight winning streak, which included five straight wins inside of the Octagon.

Colby Covington has taken a shot at Jon Jones ahead of his return to the Octagon at UFC 295 in November. It’s safe to say that Colby Covington is a controversial character. The man known as ‘Chaos’ hasn’t been seen inside the Octagon for over a year, dating back to his win over Jorge Masvidal. Despite that, the expectation is that he will challenge Leon Edwards for the UFC welterweight championship later this year.

Aspinall is set to headline UFC London on Saturday against Marcin Tybura in his first fight since he suffered a knee injury last July against Curtis Blaydes. The loss and injury were heartbreaking for Aspinall as he knew a win over Blaydes could have gotten him a title shot against the returning Jon Jones.

At the very least, there’s a mutual respect there, which didn’t appear to be present when they previously went back and forth on social media. The two ran into each other recently and appeared to be having a great time, squashing the beef they held for so long.

Francis Ngannou’s manager is claiming a future fight with Jon Jones is ‘still a possibility’. Marquel Martin, claims that Ngannou is on board to make a fight with Jones, perhaps the only barrier is UFC President, Dana White.

Ciryl Gane has opened up on his submission loss to Jon Jones back in March for the vacant heavyweight title. Gane was fighting for the undisputed belt for the second time in his career after he had previously lost by decision to Francis Ngannou. Against Jones, the Frenchman entered the scrap with a ton of confidence. However, just moments into the fight, Ciryl Gane says he made a big mistake by throwing a big overhand punch that Jones used to get him down to the ground.

Dominick Cruz has questioned the training of Stipe Miocic ahead of his UFC 295 clash with Jon Jones later this year. As announced earlier this month, Stipe Miocic is set to return to the Octagon this November when he challenges Jon Jones for the UFC heavyweight championship. We haven’t seen Stipe in almost three years, dating back to his knockout defeat at the hands of Francis Ngannou in March 2021.

Stipe Miocic is ready to be the UFC’s heavyweight champion again. Miocic is set to headline UFC 295 on November 11 at Madison Square Garden against Jon Jones. It’s an intriguing matchup and one Jones called for after he became the UFC’s heavyweight champ back in March. However, the hope was the fight would’ve happened on Saturday at International Fight Week, but Miocic is fine with having to wait until November.

The deal is finally done, Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic is set for UFC 295 in November. ‘Bones’ made his long-awaited return to the cage in March against Ciryl Gane. While the former light-heavyweight repeatedly called for a clash with Stipe Miocic, it failed to come to fruition. As a result, Jon Jones faced ‘Bon Gamin’ in the main event of UFC 285, and made quick work in his return.

UFC commentator Daniel Cormier believes Jon Jones is the most dominant fighter in MMA history. The rivalry between ‘DC’ and ‘Bones’ was one for the ages. They first faced off at UFC 182 in January 2015, as Jon Jones handed Daniel Cormier his first career loss by unanimous decision. However, the build to the contest was intense, and saw the two even engage in a press-conference brawl.

Jon Jones has squashed the beef with Israel Adesanya. For years, Jones and Adesanya have taken shots at one another, and it was a fight both men had interest in. The two exchanged verbal jabs countless times in interviews and even just recently, Adesanya claims the story with Jones is not over.

Francis Ngannou was not impressed by the recent comments made by UFC President Dana White on the Pat McAfee show. Ngannou (17-3 MMA) of course signed with PFL (Professional Fighters League) last month after being offered ‘equity and leadership’ roles within the company. In addition to having a seat on the athlete advisory board and the role of PFL Africa chairman, the agreement also allows for ‘The Predator’ to seek out his own boxing matches.

Jon Jones has teased the idea of training Mark Zuckerberg for his rumored showdown with Elon Musk. Over the course of the last few days, we’ve seen quite the “feud” develop. Elon Musk of Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook have both reportedly agreed to face off with one another. It’s been well documented that Mark Zuckerberg has done some training in recent years, but we’re not sure the same can be said for Musk.
