Alex Pereira isn’t ruling out the possibility of him headlining UFC 301 in Brazil. UFC CEO Dana White announced on Saturday that Pereira would headline UFC 300 on April 13 against Jamahal Hill. Pereira is looking to defend his light heavyweight title for the first time, but originally, the plan was for him to headline UFC 301 on May 4 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Hill will be looking to become a two-time UFC light heavyweight titleholder. “Sweet Dreams” was never defeated for the gold, rather he relinquished the championship after suffering a ruptured Achilles.

On Friday afternoon, it was reported by TMZ Sports that Hill was arrested in Michigan earlier this week for domestic violence against his brother. According to the report, Hill was booked at a Kent County jail on Monday at around 1 AM and released later that evening, at 7:35 PM. During that time, prosecutors formally charged Hill with one count of misdemeanor aggravated domestic violence.
