Former UFC bantamweight and flyweight champion Henry Cejudo released a new rap video ahead of the Fighters Only awards, “Cringe Ass Henry.” Cejudo, who retired from mixed martial arts in the prime of his career following a second-round TKO win over Dominick Cruz back at UFC 249, has stayed in the limelight of the public since his retirement. Despite not being an active fighter inside the Octagon any longer, it hasn’t stopped Cejudo from keeping active on social media. Seemingly every week Cejudo posts a meme or calls out a current UFC champion as he has truly embraced the “King of Cringe” moniker ever since he officially stepped away from MMA.

Cejudo was at the top of his game when he abruptly retired from the sport and vacated the UFC bantamweight title following a TKO win over Dominick Cruz at UFC 249 in May. Since then, Cejudo has taken his trolling game on social media to a whole other level. “The Messenger” is on Twitter and Instagram seemingly every day taking champs at several of the UFC’s champions including Petr Yan and Alexander Volkanovski. Of all of his rivals, it seems like Cejudo would like to get his hands on Volkanovski the most.

On Saturday night, Lopez Jr. shocked the boxing world when he defeated Vasiliy Lomachenko via unanimous decision in a massive upset. Lopez Jr. outboxed the pound-for-pound great Lomachenko for the majority of the rounds as he staved off a late comeback to earn the decision. With the win, Lopez Jr. retained the IBF lightweight title and picked up the WBA, WBO, and The Ring title belts as well.

Henry Cejudo and Aljamain Sterling traded shots on Twitter after Cejudo said Sterling would get passed over for a bantamweight title shot. In the main event of UFC Fight Island 5, Cory Sandhagen knocked out No. 1 ranked Marlon Moraes with a spinning wheel kick and punches to re-emerge as one of the best bantamweights in the division. Sandhagen, of course, suffered a first-round submission loss to Sterling in his last fight at UFC 250 back in June. But in MMA, the sport is all about what have you done lately, and Sandhagen’s win puts him right back into title contention.
