Former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo was clearly watching tonight’s UFC 256 main event between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno. Both Figueiredo and Moreno were competing on short-notice at tonight’s event, this after partaking in bouts on last months UFC 255 fight card.

While he may officially be retired from mixed martial arts, Cejudo is never too far away from the news cycle and is quite clearly interested in a return to the UFC one day. Whether or not that takes place at bantamweight, flyweight or featherweight, though, remains to be seen.

Garbrandt and Cejudo began going at it on social media after reigning UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo, who will return to the cage against Brandon Moreno in the main event of UFC 256 this Saturday, divulged that he’d prefer to fight Cejudo next, rather than Garbrandt.

UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo is hoping to defend his title against Henry Cejudo if he’s victorious at UFC 256 this weekend. Figueiredo is slated to defend his title against the streaking Brandon Moreno in the UFC 256 main event. Heading into the fight, the expectation is that the champ will be booked for a fight with former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt next if he’s successful.

They met in early 2019, when Dillashaw, then the bantamweight champion, dropped down to flyweight to challenge Cejudo for that division’s title.

Harrison, who is 8-0 since beginning her professional mixed martial arts career, is searching for more competition as she awaits the return of the new PFL season. Cejudo, on the other hand, has been “retired” for months now after walking away from the sport earlier this year.

Henry Cejudo captured the UFC flyweight title with a controversial split decision defeat of of Demetrious Johnson in August, 2018. After defending the title with a knockout of TJ Dillashaw in January 2019, he then ventured up to bantamweight, where he captured the vacant title with a defeat of Marlon Moraes, and retired after defending the belt against Dominick Cruz.

Henry Cejudo has taken a shot a UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan. Volkanovski and Yan have both trained extensively at Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket, Thailand in the past, and have sparred together during their time at the gym. Footage of one of their sparring sessions recently started making the rounds on social media, where it eventually caught the eye of Cejudo.

MMA great Henry Cejudo praises retired UFC champions Khabib Nurmagomedov and Daniel Cormier, proclaiming that “Wrestling is life.” Cejudo retired from mixed martial arts in May following a TKO win over Dominick Cruz, giving up his UFC bantamweight title in the process. As for Cormier, he retired following a decision loss to Stipe Miocic at UFC 252. And of course, Nurmagomdov retired following his submission win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 this weekend of Fight Island.

Former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo sent a message to boxing star Teofimo Lopez Jr., telling him to be a “good babysitter” for the belts. On Saturday night, Lopez Jr. shocked the boxing world when he defeated Vasiliy Lomachenko via unanimous decision in a massive upset. Lopez Jr. outboxed the pound-for-pound great Lomachenko for the majority of the rounds as he staved off a late comeback to earn the decision. With the win, Lopez Jr. retained the IBF lightweight title and picked up the WBA, WBO, and The Ring title belts as well.

Former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo responded after Israel Adesanya said that he was going to ejaculate on his coach Eric Albarracin. Adesanya knocked out Paulo Costa in the main event of UFC 253 to defend the UFC middleweight title. Immediately after the referee stepped in and stopped the fight, Adesanya was caught on camera play humping Costa. He then went to Costa’s corner and told Albarracin that he would ejaculate all over him. Watch the video below.

Undefeated lightweight boxing star Ryan Garcia says that he wants to “beat the sh*t” out of former UFC double champion Henry Cejudo. Cejudo recently retired from MMA following a TKO win over Dominick Cruz at UFC 249, but he has been active in his retirement calling out MMA fighters and boxers, including Garcia. Both Cejudo and Garcia have been going back-and-forth in interviews over the last few months, making their feelings known about each other. Both men do not like one another, and both men are interested in a potential MMA fight or boxing match.
