The feud between Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor has continued to escalate with the former challenging the latter to a fight. While this is a rivalry that doesn’t make much sense in the eyes of many, Henry Cejudo seems intent on trying to rile Conor McGregor up over social media. The pair have traded insults on several occasions and with both being two-weight world champions, they’re closer than anyone to making history by winning a third world title in a third weight class.

Former two-weight UFC champion Henry Cejudo has once again responded to a jibe from Conor McGregor on social media. The bizarre feud between fellow champ champs Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor has been ongoing for a few months now. While it’s incredibly unlikely we’ll ever see the two square off inside the Octagon, that hasn’t stopped them from teeing off on one another through Twitter.

Conor McGregor unloads on Henry Cejudo for continuing to criticize his training videos

Apparently Conor McGregor has had enough and is tired of Henry Cejudo continuing to criticize his training videos. McGregor (22-6 MMA) has been out of the Octagon since his loss to Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA) at UFC 264 in July 2021. It was at that fight that ‘The Notorious’ suffered a leg injury, forcing a halt to the bout at the end of the first round. It was the third time Poirier and McGregor had met in the cage, with Poirier ending up 2-1 in the series.

Henry Cejudo has all the confidence that his teammate, Korean Zombie will become the new featherweight champion on Saturday. Zombie trains out of Fight Ready in Arizona and Cejudo has been coaching him for his title fight against Volkanovski at UFC 273. Although ‘Triple C’ was campaigning for the fight himself, but has taken a back seat to coach Zombie instead. Since working with him, Cejudo now believes this is a terrible style matchup for the champ as he believes Zombie will find the KO shot.

Henry Cejudo and Conor McGregor have taken to Twitter in a war of words. Could it be that Cejudo is adding himself to the list of fighters that are waiting in line for The Irishman to return to the Octagon. ‘Triple C’ (16-2 MMA) last fought in May of 2020 at UFC 249 defeating Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) by second round TKO to defend the bantamweight title. Following that bout, Cejudo announced his retirement from mixed martial arts, but has since indicated his wish to get back in the cage this year.

Henry Cejudo, (16-2 MMA) retired after successfully defending his UFC bantamweight title by TKO over Dominick Cruz (24-3 MMA) in the second round at UFC 249 in May of 2020. Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) is preparing himself for a UFC comeback after a broken ankle which he suffered during his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA). It was at UFC 264, in July of 2021, where McGregor went down to defeat against Poirier and suffered his injury. Poirier has been victorious in 2 of the 3 fights between the two.
