Henry Cejudo has fired back at Conor McGregor’s recent diss following UFC 288. Cejudo challenged Aljamain Sterling for the UFC Bantamweight Championship inside the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on May 6. “Triple C” and the “Funk Master” had a high-level scrap that went the distance. In the end, it was Sterling who had his hand raised via split decision.

Cejudo and McGregor have traded barbs over the years, and it’s easy to see why. After all, Cejudo’s manager is Ali Abdelaziz, someone who McGregor has a personal beef with. McGregor has also slammed UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov, someone Cejudo considers to be a good friend.

Alvarez and Mendes, both former opponents of McGregor, went one-on-one inside 1stBank Center in Denver, Colorado. The well-known MMA veterans were competing under bare knuckle rules. This one had its share of knockdowns, much to the delight of the crowd. The bout went the distance and Alvarez earned the split nod in a barn burner.
