UFC welterweight contender Colby Covington continues to take shots at Jorge Masvidal. ‘Chaos’ and ‘Gamebred’ were close friends for years, even living together at one point. However, a few years ago, the two had a massive falling out. According to Masvidal, the feud began with Covington not paying their striking coach an amount they had agreed on. From there, the rivalry spiraled out of control.

At the time, no date was revealed but the plan was for them to fight at UFC 291 on July 22 in London, England. However, the Brit turned it down citing that he needed more time, which left Covington frustrated as he doesn’t understand why Edwards wouldn’t want to fight in his home country.

TMZ Sports was able to obtain court records last which state Masvidal claiming Covington received preferential treatment from cops during their altercation in Miami last year.
