UFC President Dana White is open to promoting Jon Jones vs. Tyson Fury. Recently, Fury and Jones took aim at one another and both called for a fight to happen. Despite their mutual interest, the super-fight seemed highly improbable as ‘Bones’ is currently under contract with the UFC and Dana White has made it clear that he doesn’t like “gimmick fights”. However, in surprising fashion, the UFC boss says he is interested in cross-promoting this potential fight.

UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones believes boxing’s heavyweight king Tyson Fury did an about-face. Fury, the reigning WBC and The Ring Heavyweight Champion, took to his Instagram Stories to fire shots at UFC color commentator Joe Rogan. Fury was quite upset with Rogan for saying that Jones would get the better of him if they were locked in a room. “The Gypsy King” was adamant that no man alive would make it out of that room if he had anything to say about it.

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones has reacted to Tyson Fury’s recent comments. ‘The Gypsy King’ made headlines earlier today for blasting Joe Rogan. The UFC commentator previously opined that if Fury was to fight ‘Bones’ in a room alone, it wouldn’t go well for him. Given the British star’s colorful and boisterous personality, he naturally didn’t take the comments well.

PFL heavyweight contender Francis Ngannou is still hoping to box Tyson Fury. ‘The Predator’ famously ended his lengthy free agency earlier this week. In January, Ngannou made history as the first champion to leave the UFC since BJ Penn did so in 2004. At the time, the heavyweight stated that restrictive contracts, as well as a lack of an ability to box, forced his move.

Amer Abdallah of Saudi’s Skill Challenge Entertainment is looking to host a mega boxing event this year with Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk as the main event. The Saudi boxing promoter revealed talks are underway to see Fury take on Usyk in the headliner and Deontay Wilder face Anthony Joshua in the co-main event on the same card. It also would not be a tournament, just two heavyweight fights going down on the same night.

The two haven’t minced words ahead of their collision, with Fury saying that Paul will never box again after this match. “I’m going to be angry, I’m going to be frustrated at Jake Paul, he can’t fight,” Fury said to Top Rank. “I’m here on a paid vacation and if I’m worried about Jake Paul then I want to forget about winning a world title. That isn’t the case here, we are here super relaxed, on weight, and ready to go… When I’m done, this guy will never box again. If I have any dreams of winning a world title, I’m not fazed by Jake Paul and you will see that Sunday night.”

Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is down for a mixed-rules bout with Tyson Fury. ‘The Predator’ left the UFC last month after failing to reach an agreement on a new deal. As a result, Ngannou was quickly stripped of his heavyweight title. The promotion later announced that Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane would fight for the vacant championship in March.

Ngannou and Fury have expressed interest in throwing down at some point. Fury has laid out the rules for the bout, which calls for a boxing match, but with 4-ounce gloves. He suggested International Boxing Hall of Famer Mike Tyson serve as the special referee.
