Strongman-turned-boxer Eddie Hall has sent a heartfelt message to his fans after losing to Thor Bjornsson on Saturday night. In what was billed as the heaviest boxing match in history, World’s Strongest Man rivals Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson went to war in a chaotic tussle in Dubai. The bout went the full distance with Bjornsson eventually getting his hand raised via unanimous decision, with the judges giving him all but one round of the contest.

Thor Bjornsson and Eddie Hall collided in a titan heavyweight boxing match today at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium in United Arab Emirates. The two strongmen, Hall and Bjornsson, were originally scheduled to clash in September 2021. However, Eddie Hall wound up tearing one of his biceps, forcing the fight to be postponed by six months.

While the bout was first dismissed by Alvarez, he recently opined that the bout could happen if it makes sense. While he’s currently booked against Dmitry Bivol and Gennadiy Golovkin, Usman is hoping he can get slotted in this year as well.

Canelo Alvarez’s promoter Eddie Hearn has revealed he’s open to working with Kamaru Usman and the UFC. The Mexican superstar signed a 3-fight deal with Matchroom Boxing last month for $160 million dollars. The first bout on that deal is a light-heavyweight showdown with Dmitry Bivol, while the second is a trilogy encounter with Gennadiy Golovkin. Over the last few months, Kamaru Usman is gunning to get a bout with Alvarez as well.

Jake Paul has made it known he wants to box Conor McGregor and is now willing to cut down to 175lbs to make it happen. One of the main reasons why Dana White has shut down the idea is due to the size difference, as he thinks Paul is too big for McGregor. The UFC president went on Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive where he said the Irishman is a 145, 155lbs fighter while Paul fights at around 190lbs.
