MMA legend Wanderlei Silva will be making his boxing debut against Felipe Franco in November. ‘The Axe Murderer’ has been out of action for nearly five years, last facing Rampage Jackson. That was the fourth fight between the two, taking place at Bellator 206 in September 2018. There, Wanderlei Silva came up short, losing by second-round knockout moving the series to 2-2.

According to Ariel Helwani, Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou will be announced shortly. ‘The Predator’ has long attempted to secure a high-profile boxing match. In January, Francis Ngannou left the UFC as heavyweight champion, becoming the first titleholder to do so since BJ Penn. Upon his exit, he stated that he planned to head to the boxing ring, and hopefully face Tyson Fury.

Former boxing champions Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder are reportedly set to clash in December. ‘AJ’ and ‘The Bronze Bomber’ have been in talks over a potential fight for a while now. In April, Anthony Joshua scored a unanimous decision win over Jermaine Franklin, snapping a two-fight losing streak. Following the victory, he called for matchups with Dillian Whyte, Deontay Wilder, and Tyson Fury.

Boxing star Jake Paul is ready to step into the cage with Conor McGregor after his August clash with Nate Diaz. ‘The Problem Child’ is currently slated to face the Stockton native later this year. The two will headline a DAZN pay-per-view offering, Jake Paul’s first since his loss to Tommy Fury in February. Following that loss to ‘TNT’, the YouTuber-turned-boxer called for an instant rematch.

The bout was expected to be the biggest test of his career thus far, but the Brit passed with flying colors. KSI wound up scoring a second-round knockout win, immediately having a face-off with Tommy Fury following the bout.

Thanks to the deal, Francis Ngannou retained his right to box, which was one of the factors that forced his move.
