A world title fight on the undercard of Devin Haney vs. Vasiliy Lomachenko delivered a “Knockout of the Year” candidate. On the ESPN portion of the card, Junto Nakatani battled Andrew Moloney for the vacant WBO junior bantamweight championship. For the most part, Nakatani was dominant and Moloney found out rather quickly that he could not outbox his opponent. Moloney tried making things rough in spots, but ultimately, he was on the receiving end of a brutal knockout loss in the 12th round. This was after Moloney had been knocked down in rounds two and 11.

Fury was quite upset with Rogan for saying that Jones would get the better of him if they were locked in a room. “The Gypsy King” was adamant that no man alive would make it out of that room if he had anything to say about it.

Joe Fournier is none too pleased with how his boxing match with KSI ended. Fournier and KSI competed inside OVO Arena Wembley in London, England this past Saturday (May 13). It was clear early on that KSI had a speed advantage and was the sharper boxer. In the second round, Fournier’s lights were shut off and his opponent was awarded the knockout win. This one had some controversy. Replays showed that KSI appeared to have knocked Fournier out with an unintentional elbow.

Kenneth Egano, a 22-year-old boxer, has passed away after competing in Manny Pacquiao’s promotion. Egano who was 7-1 with three wins by KO was facing Jason Facularin (4-1) at the Imus Sports Gymnasium in the Philippines last weekend in an eight-round fight that part of Manny Pacquiao‘s TV show “Blow by Blow”, which features boxers on smaller cards. After a hard-fought battle, when the final bell rang and just before they were set to announce Egano as the winner, he collapsed in his corner.
