UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski has zero desire in a potential fourth fight with Max Holloway. The history between arguably the two greatest featherweights in UFC history dates back to 2019, when Volkanovski first attained the title at UFC 254, snapping Holloway’s fourteen-fight unbeaten streak at 145lbs. Since then, the pair have met a further twice, with the Australian edging a split decision at UFC 251 and then putting on a clinic at UFC 276 to go (3-0) over the former champ.

MMA legend Randy Couture has revealed which PFL heavyweight he’d like to see throw down with Francis Ngannou. The Ngannou sweepstakes is officially underway. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion is now a PFL fighter, and his first opponent under the promotion is set to make a cool $2 million. Some have already thrown their name in the hat. One of those fighters is former UFC heavyweight Ben Rothwell.

Former UFC fighter Alessio Di Chirico has reportedly found himself in hot water with the law. Al Zullino reports that Di Chirico was recently arrested in Formentera, Spain. The former UFC middleweight allegedly attacked a taxi driver.

It’s safe to say that the relationship between Dana White and Francis Ngannou isn’t the best right now. In fact, you could probably go a step further and claim that it’s broken for good. Following his exit from the UFC, Ngannou was slandered by White in a variety of ways – and the president kept that going during last weekend’s post-fight press conference.

In the main event of UFC Vegas 73, top-15 strawweights headlined the card as Mackenzie Dern took on Angela Hill. Dern entered the fight coming off a majority decision loss to Xiaonan Yan back in October in another five-round main event. Hill, meanwhile, was riding a two-fight winning streak as she beat Loopy Godinez and Emily Ducote by decision.

Dustin Poirier believes Conor McGregor will finish Michael Chandler inside two rounds if they end up fighting. McGregor and Chandler are coaching TUF and are expected to fight later this year in a highly-anticipated fight. The Irishman is looking to snap his two-fight losing skid after losing back-to-back fights to Dustin Poirier, while Chandler is also coming off a loss to Poirier.

Jan Blachowicz is confident he will send Alex Pereira back down to middleweight. Blachowicz and Pereira are set to serve as the co-main event of UFC 291 on July 29 in Salt Lake City, Utah. It’s an intriguing matchup and one Blachowicz says he asked for. He says when he heard Pereira was moving up, he wanted to be the first to welcome the Brazilian to 205lbs as he likes the style matchup, and he expects to send Pereira back down to middleweight.

Former UFC Lightweight Champion Eddie Alvarez has detailed what Michael Chandler needs to do to have success against Conor McGregor. While McGregor vs. Chandler doesn’t have an official date, UFC President Dana White is hoping to book the fight before the year is out. McGregor recently cleared up his issues with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA). He’s expected to reenter the testing pool soon.

Paulie Malignaggi thinks Jake Paul would knockout Conor McGregor if the pair ever met between the ropes. Paul is scheduled to face his fourth MMA fighter in boxing since debuting in 2020. The Youtuber-turned boxer will face UFC veteran Nate Diaz on August 5 in Dallas, Texas, but has been vocal in expressing his desire to fight McGregor.

Aljamain Sterling is tired of the public criticism he has received from UFC President Dana White. Sterling is the reigning UFC Bantamweight Champion, but some feel he hasn’t been given his due from the UFC brass. The “Funk Master” is coming off a highly competitive five-round fight with Henry Cejudo at UFC 288. The UFC has insisted that Sterling have a quick turnaround by champion standards to meet Sean O’Malley. The title fight is scheduled for August 19.

Sean O’Malley has a response after Aljamain Sterling suggested their fight gets bumped up to July. O’Malley will challenge Sterling for the UFC Bantamweight Championship on August 19. The title fight is scheduled to headline UFC 292 inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. While Sterling was initially hesitant about committing to the championship scrap so soon, UFC President Dana White has insisted the fight is on for the summer.

Hard-hitting lightweights Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje will collide in a rematch at UFC 291 on July 29. The bout will be contested for the symbolic BMF Championship. The title was originally a one-time-only deal when Jorge Masvidal won the belt by defeating Nate Diaz back in 2019. Well, it’s back and the UFC boss has explained why that is the case.

Aljamain Sterling is scheduled to put his UFC Bantamweight Championship on the line against O’Malley at UFC 292 in Boston, Massachusetts. Fight fans wondered if that date would actually be realistic, however, as Sterling had claimed that he wasn’t fully healed, and that August 5 may not be feasible.

With a win, Katie would have taken home Cameron’s undisputed junior welterweight championship.
