UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier feels the UFC is the only MMA promotion in which athletes truly have an opportunity to achieve a superstar fame level. Cormier sat cage-side as UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira defeated Khalil Rountree Jr. at UFC 307. Pereira defended the belt for the third time in just seven months and rallied from early adversity to finish Rountree.

UFC bantamweight contender Kayla Harrison responded to the PFL’s promotion of her lone career defeat to market one of their biggest stars. Harrison defeated Ketlen Vieira by unanimous decision at UFC 307 last Saturday in Salt Lake City. After defeating Vieira and remaining unbeaten in her UFC tenure, Harrison is likely next in line for the bantamweight title shot.

PFL founder Donn Davis wants to make a deal with Dana White involving Kayla Harrison. The former two-time PFL tournament winner returned to the cage at UFC 307 on Saturday. On the main card, Kayla Harrison faced Ketlen Vieira in a women’s bantamweight title eliminator. While the contest wasn’t as dominant as her debut in April, the judoka still emerged with a unanimous decision victory.

PFL founder Donn Davis still has issues with UFC women’s bantamweight contender Kayla Harrison. The judoka famously made her name in the PFL from 2018 to 2023. Over those five years, Kayla Harrison won two women’s lightweight tournaments, defeating various UFC veterans such as Cindy Dandois and Aspen Ladd. Following a victory over the latter in late 2023, she parted ways with the company.

The PFL has released a trailer to promote Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira. Later this month in Saudi Arabia, ‘The Predator’ will enter the cage for the first time since early 2022. Following a unanimous decision victory over Ciryl Gane at UFC 270, Francis Ngannou parted ways with the Dana White-led promotion. The following year, the former heavyweight champion signed with the PFL.

PFL CEO Peter Murray has confirmed Jake Paul will fight in MMA after facing Mike Tyson. ‘The Problem Child’ is set to make his return to the boxing ring on November 15th in Dallas. Fresh off a knockout victory over Mike Perry in July, Jake Paul will face the legendary Mike Tyson. The two were previously booked to clash in the summer, but health issues forced the 58-year-old boxer out of the matchup.

Former UFC heavyweight champions Daniel Cormier and Francis Ngannou have both experienced unimaginable tragedies during their combat sports careers. Ngannou is scheduled to return to the MMA cage to make his PFL debut against Renan Ferreira on October 19th in Riyadh. He’ll make his return to MMA just mere months after the tragic death of his son, Kobe, after a medical emergency in Cameroon.

Tommy Fury is willing to be Jake Paul’s first opponent in the PFL cage. ‘TNT’ hasn’t been seen in combat sports for nearly a year. Tommy Fury last appeared in the boxing ring last October, against YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI. Despite some early trouble from ‘The Nightmare’, the younger brother of Tyson Fury wound up securing a unanimous decision victory.

UFC president Dana White has given his thoughts on Donn Davis’ recent claims regarding PFL and their expenditures. This past weekend, the Ultimate Fighting Championship put on a mammoth event at the Sphere in Las Vegas. They spent a great deal of money doing so, too, making for one of the most unique events in the history of mixed martial arts. Dana White served as a huge part of the process, and he made it clear that they were going all in.

According to Donn Davis, PFL’s ‘Battle Of The Giants’ PPV headlined by Francis Ngannou vs. Renan Ferreira will be quite the expense. ‘The Predator’ has been out of the cage for over two years now. In January 2022, Francis Ngannou defeated Ciryl Gane, in what was his final appearance as UFC heavyweight champion. The following year, the former titleholder signed with the PFL to compete. However, for the last year or so, he’s been busy in the boxing world.

Bellator middleweight champion Johnny Eblen will face Fabian Edwards next month on PFL pay-per-view. The two met in the main event of Bellator 299 last September in Dublin. Despite Johnny Eblen entering the cage a massive betting favorite, Fabian Edwards gave him the toughest bout of his career. However, the wrestler still retained his title via a brutal third-round knockout. Post-fight, tensions flared, and Eblen nearly fought Edwards’ brother, former UFC champion Leon Edwards.

Former UFC welterweight title challenger Dan Hardy is interested in fighting for the PFL. As most fans are aware, the man known as ‘The Outlaw’ hasn’t competed in over a decade. Dan Hardy last fought Amir Sadollah in September 2012, picking up a unanimous decision victory. The following year, the British striker was diagnosed with Wolff–Parkinson–White syndrome, a heart condition.

Larissa Pacheco can already hear the excuses if she defeats Cris Cyborg on the October 10th PFL Super Fight card. Pacheco and Cyborg are set to collide on the same night that former UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou makes his PFL debut. “The Predator” will headline against Renan Ferreira in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Some hardcore fans are looking forward to Pacheco vs. Cyborg even more given that Larissa is the only fighter to hand Kayla Harrison a loss in her pro MMA career.

PFL heavyweight king Renan Ferreira has clarified his comments regarding Francis Ngannou during their recent face-off. As we know, Francis Ngannou is set to battle Renan Ferreira later this year. It will serve as his official return to mixed martial arts following his departure from the UFC a few years back. Ferreira, meanwhile, has been building a name for himself as the face of the heavyweight division in PFL.

Over the course of the last few weeks, Muhammad Mokaev has had to do some serious self-reflection. Despite his win over Manel Kape at UFC 304, he was released from his contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Then, when PFL’s Ray Sefo was asked about the idea of signing him, he swiftly turned it down.

PFL president Ray Sefo has explained why the promotion isn’t interested in signing former UFC fighter Muhammad Mokaev. Last weekend, Muhammad Mokaev managed to defeat Manel Kape in a tight flyweight collision at UFC 304. From there, the expectation was that he would go on to receive a UFC flyweight championship opportunity. Instead, though, Dana White revealed that they would not be offering him a new contract with the promotion.
