Gegard Mousasi is booked to fight Austin Vanderford this weekend at Bellator 275. Despite that booking, it seems that the Bellator middleweight champion is already looking to a future opponent. ‘The Dreamcatcher’ is currently coming off a stoppage win over John Salter at Bellator 264. The TKO victory was the first of his second reign as Bellator’s middleweight champion. While viewed as one of the greatest 185-pound fighters on the planet, it seems that he’s turning his view away from MMA for a potential fight in the ring.
David Feldman interested in signing Francis Ngannou to BKFC if he becomes a free agent

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is interested in signing Francis Ngannou should he become a free agent, according to BKFC president, David Feldman. It was well-documented that Ngannou was fighting out his contract when he fought Ciryl Gane at UFC 270, a fight he won by decision. Since then, he hasn’t signed a new deal and due to him still being the champ he either has to fight one more time or wait until the end of the year to become a free agent.
Islam Makhachev names three fighters who declined to step up and fight him at UFC Vegas 49

Islam Makhachev says Bobby Green was not the first person that was asked to fight him. On 10 days’ notice, it was revealed that Beneil Dariush had been forced out of his UFC Vegas 49 main event fight against Makhachev. However, shortly thereafter, Bobby Green agreed to step up on short notice and take the fight, but according to Makhachev, three fighters were asked before him.

Terrance McKinney is looking to build off his seven-second KO win over Matt Frevola in his debut. Back in June at UFC 263, McKinney stepped up on short notice and scored the KO win. He was then booked to fight Fares Ziam in November, but after a cornerman tested positive for COVID-19 the fight was scrapped. He will now face Ziam on Saturday at UFC Vegas 49 where he’s expecting to finish the fight in spectacular fashion.

Jon Jones has taken to Twitter to announce that his fiancé left him about two months ago. Jon ‘Bones’ Jones, 34, competes in the light heavyweight division of the UFC. With an impeccable record of 26-1 MMA, Jones is widely considered to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. While Jones hasn’t fought since UFC 247 back in February of 2020, where he defeated Dominick Reyes, he has stated he would like to get back in the cage in the second quarter of 2022.

Jamahal Hill has taken to Twitter admonishing fight fans who are trolling Johnny Walker. It was Jamahal Hill vs Johnny Walker at UFC Vegas 48 Fight Night this past weekend, Saturday, February 19th. Hill (10-1 MMA) defeated Walker (18-7 MMA) via knockout in the first round. It was a devastating loss for Walker and the repercussions of ‘fans’ airing their criticisms and insults on social media have made the loss even worse.

Chael Sonnen is taking to his social media platform to encourage fight fans to rally behind Beneil Dariush to get another UFC main even slot once he’s recovered from his injury. Beneil Dariush (21-4 MMA) was scheduled to fight Islam Makhachev (21-1 MMA) at UFC Vegas this coming weekend, Saturday February 26th. However, due to an injury sustained while training, Dariush had to pull out of the fight.

Jon Jones was caught headbutting a police car during his arrest in Las Vegas back in September. On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal obtained police bodycam footage of Jones’ arrest where he headbutted a police car (at the 3:09 mark) and reportedly left a “medium-size dent” and chipped the paint. During the arrest, Jones is heard calling one of the officers a “nerd” and asked “A black man can’t drink?” as he accused the officers of racial profiling.
