Dana White has given his thoughts on the odds of Jon Jones making his return to the UFC at the White House event. As we know, Jon Jones is currently on the outside looking in at the world of mixed martial arts – and, more specifically, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. While many consider him to be one of the greatest of all time, he hasn’t exactly done much to further his legacy over the course of the last few years. If anything, he’s damaged it quite badly.

UFC featherweight Lerone Murphy has responded to Alexander Volkanovski’s call for a title showdown in December. Last night in the co-main event of UFC 319, Lerone Murphy knocked Aaron Pico out cold with a spinning elbow. He did so in the first round, and he proved to the masses that he deserves a shot at the world title. Shortly afterwards, the champion Alexander Volkanovski made it crystal clear that he wants to battle Lerone later this year in a December championship fight.

The Octagon invaded Chicago for tonight’s UFC 319 event, and four fighters wound up taking home performance bonuses. UFC 319 was headlined by a middleweight title fight featuring Dricus Du Plessis taking on the unbeaten Khamzat Chimaev. The bout proved to be a one-sided affair, as Chimaev was able to dominate Du Plessis for four straight rounds, this while utilizing his superior grappling to overwhelm and control the South African. Although ‘DDP’ was able to mount some offense in round five, it wasn’t nearly enough to rectify the dominance that Khamzat Chimaev had put forth in the opening four rounds. After 25-minutes of action, Chimaev was awarded a much-deserved unanimous decision win.

Tonight’s UFC 319 event was headlined by a highly anticipated middleweight title fight between Dricus Du Plessis and Khamzat Chimaev. Du Plessis (23-3 MMA) was looking to earn his third consecutive title defense when he took to the Octagon this evening. ‘Stillknocks’ had most previously competed at February’s UFC 312 event in Sydney, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over former title holder Sean Strickland. Prior to that, the South African had submitted Israel Adesanya at UFC 305 in August of last year.

UFC star Khamzat Chimaev has given his thoughts on being repeatedly called out by rival Paulo Costa. As we know, Khamzat Chimaev will challenge Dricus du Plessis for the UFC middleweight championship tonight. However, this isn’t the only person that Khamzat is currently embroiled in a feud with. ‘Borz’ is also in the midst of a rivalry with Paulo Costa, although Costa seems to be doing most of the work there.

Khamzat Chimaev sent a chilling message to Dricus du Plessis this week ahead of their blockbuster title showdown tonight. This evening, Khamzat Chimaev will challenge Dricus du Plessis for the UFC middleweight championship. It’s an opportunity that has been a long time coming for Khamzat, and it’s one he’s been working towards for quite some time. Whether or not he’s able to get the job done, of course, is entirely up in the air, especially given what DDP has already accomplished up to this point in his career.

Liz Carmouche was successful in winning the PFL tournament last night to claim her second world championship. Liz Carmouche is the definition of a trailblazer. In addition to being part of the iconic first women’s fight in the UFC alongside Ronda Rousey, she’s also had an incredibly long and successful career. Even outside of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, she’s been able to win world titles and generally prove that if you’re committed enough, you can continue to improve with age.
