Stephen Thompson has issued a warning to any of his potential opponents about missing weight in the future. Last month at UFC 291, Stephen Thompson was scheduled to square off with Michel Pereira. Unfortunately, the bout didn’t end up happening as a result of Pereira missing weight by three and a half pounds. Thompson had the option to go forward with the contest, but he opted not to do so. Because of that, he didn’t receive his show money, creating quite the controversy within the MMA community.

Mark Zuckerberg has claimed that he’ll be moving on from the idea of an MMA fight against Elon Musk. Over the course of the last few months, the talk of Mark Zuckerberg taking on Elon Musk has dominated the combat sports sphere. The founder of Facebook and the current owner of X, formerly known as Twitter, have gone back and forth with one another over social media. In addition to that, UFC president Dana White has expressed his explicit interest in putting on the bout under the UFC umbrella.

For Fedor Emelianenko, it’s out of sight, out of mind when it comes to the final bout of his pro MMA career. Emelianenko had a decorated MMA career that saw him win championship gold under the PRIDE FC banner. While many argue “The Last Emperor’s” best days were behind him coming out of the sensational 2009 KO win over Brett Rogers, Emelianenko kept pushing forward. He had nice surges after his Strikeforce run ended in a string of losses. Ultimately, his career ended in a first-round TKO loss to Ryan Bader at Bellator 290 earlier this year.
Cub Swanson reacts to controversial UFC Vegas 78 win over Hakeem Dawodu

Cub Swanson has given his take on emerging victorious at UFC Vegas 78 when the general consensus is that he should’ve received a loss. Swanson shared the Octagon with Hakeem Dawodu inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. “Killer” Cub and Dawodu fought until the final horn of their August 12 showdown. All three judges scored the fight for Swanson. which left many fans and media members puzzled. MMADecisions.com notes that out of 13 media members who scored the fight, only two of them believed Swanson did enough to win.

Conor McGregor calls out KSI for a bare knuckle boxing match

Conor McGregor had a few words for KSI and laid out an unexpected challenge. Both McGregor and KSI were in attendance for the heavyweight clash between Anthony Joshua and Robert Helenius. While Joshua looked spotty at times and his face was marked up quite a bit, he found the chin of his opponent in the seventh round. Cody Garbrandt forced out of UFC 292 due to injury

Cody Garbrandt will not be fighting on August 19. Garbrandt was scheduled to go one-on-one with Mario Bautista on the UFC 292 card inside the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. It was announced during the UFC Vegas 78 broadcast that “No Love” suffered an injury during training and will not be competing at UFC 292. The search for Bautista’s new opponent is underway.

Conor McGregor has revealed that he’ll be training Dillon Danis for his upcoming boxing match with Logan Paul. Recently, it was announced that Danis and Paul will share the boxing ring on the KSI vs. Tommy Fury card. The bout will take place on October 14 in Manchester, England. McGregor has long trained with Danis and he believes the Brazilian jiu-jitsu specialist will be ready on fight night.
