At the time, Derek Brunson was scheduled for a November fight with Roman Dolidze but chose to part ways with the company. Suddenly, last night, the longtime middleweight contender signed with the PFL. Furthermore, he’s already got his first opponent in the form of Ray Cooper III.

Jake Paul is reportedly in talks with Matt Riddle for a potential boxing match next year. ‘The Problem Child’ has been out of the ring since a clash with Nate Diaz in August. There, Jake Paul scored a unanimous decision win over the UFC veteran. Since then, the YouTuber-turned-boxer has been quiet about who he might face next, but it might be another former MMA star in the form of Matt Riddle.

Bobby Green and Grant Dawson had a heated faceoff ahead of UFC Vegas 80. Green and Dawson are set to headline the Fight Night card at the UFC Apex on Saturday night. Ahead of the matchup, Dawson has been vocal that he expects to be able to outgrapple Green with ease. Green, meanwhile, told Dawson to keep the same energy, and claimed he didn’t even know who Dawson was.

As we look ahead to the future, it certainly seems as if that’s going to be his primary focus with regard to what he’ll spend most of his time doing.

Gaethje has always been an action fighter and someone who is willing to risk it all, but on the two occasions he’s fought for the UFC lightweight championship, he’s come up short against Khabib Nurmagomedov and Charles Oliveira.

Glenn is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Christos Giagos earlier this year, which was a tough pill to swallow. It was his first fight in a year-and-a-half and immediately after the loss, Glenn wanted to get the bad taste out of his mouth.

Jones is set to defend his heavyweight title for the first time when he takes on the former champ Miocic in the main event of UFC 295 from Madison Square Garden on Nov. 11. It’s a massive fight and a highly-anticipated scrap as it is arguably the MMA GOAT vs. the UFC’s heavyweight GOAT.

Strickland is the UFC’s newly crowned middleweight champion, but before he even made it to the Ultimate Fighting Championship, he and Green used to battle it out in sparring. According to Green, the two used to train with one another when they were around 21 or 22, and he used to beat up Strickland with ease.

Covington is set to challenge for Edwards’ UFC welterweight title in the main event of UFC 296 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. It’s an intriguing matchup and one the oddsmakers have Edwards as a small betting favorite.

Former UFC middleweight contender Derek Brunson is heading to the PFL. The longtime contender hasn’t been seen since a loss to Dricus du Plessis at UFC 285 in March. That was Derek Brunson’s second loss in a row, previously losing to Jared Cannonier last February. While he was later booked for a rebound fight against Roman Dolidze in November, that bout will no longer be happening.

As of now, it’s unclear if Mike Perry or Dillon Danis will face Logan Paul in a boxing match. Later this month, ‘El Jefe’ is currently scheduled to face ‘The Maverick’ on DAZN pay-per-view. As many fans are likely aware, Logan Paul and others publically questioned if Dillon Danis would show up to the fight. As a result, Mike Perry was signed to be the backup opponent for the fight.

Cejudo hasn’t fought since May when he suffered a split decision loss to Aljamain Sterling for the bantamweight title in his return to the Octagon. He was then booked to fight Marlon Vera in August, but ‘Triple C’ suffered an injury and was forced to pull out.
