It was a crucial fight in the middleweight division, and one where many felt the winner could leapfrog his way to a title shot depending on the performance. Chimaev ended up not only submitting Whittaker in the first round, he even caused an injury that saw “The Reaper’s” bottom teeth get shoved in.

It should be noted that a fighter being removed from the online roster doesn’t always mean they’ve been removed from the company. In some cases, they could be going on hiatus, were suspended, or are injured.

While their first bout ended in an injury win for ‘Razor’, the second contest ended in a brutal knockout win for the Brit.

Back for the first time since winning featherweight gold against Alexander Volkanovski in February, Ilia Topuria met ‘Blessed’. Max Holloway earned the title shot with a stunning knockout victory over Justin Gaethje in April.

UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones and his legal team have reached a resolution in his assault case in Albuquerque involving two Drug-Free Sport testers at his home. Jones, who faces Stipe Miocic in the UFC 309 main event on November 16, was supposed to appear in court on Tuesday before his attorneys announced a plea deal had been reached. All charges against Jones, including assault and interference with communication, will be dismissed as long as Jones completes an anger management course.

Alexander Volkanovski believes that Ilia Topuria could become a champ-champ if he tries to. Topuria is the UFC’s featherweight champion and is coming off a TKO win over Max Holloway to defend his belt at UFC 308. He became the first person to knockout Holloway, as he showed off his insane power.

He forced Whittaker to tap out in the first round due to an injury. “The Reaper” claims his jaw is fine, but his bottom teeth were pushed in.
