UFC welterweight Michael Page has given Shara Bullet some advice following their fight on Saturday. The two flashy strikers met in the co-main event of UFC Saudi Arabia over the weekend. For ‘MVP’ the middleweight bout was his first up at the weight class, having last suffered a loss to Ian Machado Garry last June. Meanwhile, Shara Bullet entered the cage fresh off a knockout win over Armen Petrosyan in October.

According to a recent report, Canelo Alvarez and Jake Paul will meet in the boxing ring later this year. ‘The Problem Child’ hasn’t been seen since his boxing match against Mike Tyson in November. Back for the first time since knocking out BKFC Mike Perry in July, Jake Paul met ‘Iron Mike’. The bout was Tyson’s first professional fight since 2005 when he retired following a stoppage loss to journeyman Kevin McBride.

Bellator bantamweight champion Patchy Mix still wants out from the PFL. ‘War Ready’ hasn’t been seen in the cage since an appearance at Bellator Champions Series 2 in May. Back for the first time since unifying bantamweight gold with a submission win over Sergio Pettis the previous year, Patchy Mix met Magomed Magomedov. There, the champion scored a split-decision win, his second over ‘Tiger’.

Michael Bisping believes Israel Adesanya is no longer a true contender at middleweight. Adesanya suffered a second-round knockout loss to Nassourdine Imavov in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia. It was his third straight loss and he’s now 1-4 in his last fight. Although Adesanya won the first round, Bisping believes the loss proves ‘The Last Stylebender’ is not a contender anymore.

Dricus du Plessis admits he would’ve liked to have been defending his UFC middleweight gold against Khamzat Chimaev this weekend. Du Plessis will instead have a title rematch against the man he defeated for the 185-pound hardware, Sean Strickland. In their first meeting, du Plessis earned a split decision victory. Strickland stood firm in his stance that he wouldn’t take another fight outside of his win over Paulo Costa before getting a chance to reclaim the middleweight title.

Adesanya (24-5 MMA) was returning to action this afternoon for the first time since suffering a submission loss to Dricus Du Plessis (22-2 MMA) this past August at UFC 305. The former UFC middleweight champion was looking to avoid the first three-fight losing skid of his career, as he had dropped a decision to Sean Strickland prior to being tapped out by ‘DDP’.

Today’s UFC Saudi Arabia event was co-headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael Page and Shara Magomedov. Michael Page (23-3 MMA) was returning to action for the first time since suffering a unanimous decision loss at the hands of Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303 this past June. That setback was of course preceded by a decision victory over Kevin Holland in his Octagon debut at March’s UFC 299 event.
