Former middleweight champion Chris Weidman took to the Octagon at last night’s UFC Boston event in hopes of earning a light heavyweight title shot against Jon Jones. For that to happen, Weidman would need to hand surging 205-pound contender Dominick Reyes his first career defeat in this evenings main event.

Dominick Reyes was looking to stay undefeated in the main event of UFC Boston. There, he was taking on former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman who was moving up to the light heavyweight division. It was a critical fight for both, as whoever won had a good chance of fighting Jon Jones for the title next. In the end, it was Reyes who got his hand raised as he knocked out Weidman in the first round. A stiff left dropped the former champ and Reyes finished him off with ground strikes. Francis Ngannou expresses frustration with UFC and lack of a fight

Francis Ngannou, one of the top heavyweights in the UFC, is looking for a fight and he’s expressing his frustration with the promotion and their lack of getting him an opponent. In a recent interview with Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie, Ngannou was very open about his frustration as the second-ranked heavyweight in the UFC, but not being able to get an opponent. Currently riding a three fight winning streak, Ngannou does not have an opponent lined up and told MMA Junkie that he wants an answer from the UFC about their plans for him.
