Fernando Quiles - March 17, 2024

Michael Bisping believes Marcin Tybura’s game plan against Tai Tuivasa worked to perfection. Tybura shared the Octagon with “Bam Bam” in the main event of UFC Vegas 88. The Polish heavyweight didn’t allow the fight to move past round one. Tybura ended up choking out Tuivasa in the opening frame. It was a solid rebound victory for Tybura, who was coming off a first-round TKO loss against the current interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall. Tybura has now gone 8-2 in his last 10 outings, and he earned his fourth Performance of the Night bonus.

Instead of facing an older retired MMA fighter, he faced the 17-2 journeyman Ryan Bourland. The fight was Jake Paul’s second in a row, where he faced a more established professional boxer than his previous foes.

Michael Bisping, Chael Sonnen, and more to testify on UFC's behalf at antitrust trial in April

Josh Evanoff - February 26, 2024

UFC employees such as Michael Bisping and Chael Sonnen will likely be testifying in April. In 2014, several former fighters including the likes of Nate Quarry and Cung Le began suing the UFC. The claim made by the former athletes is that the promotion has illegally abused its power by operating effectively as a monopoly in MMA. They secured dominance by buying out competitors such as PRIDE and Strikeforce, enabling them to pay as little as 13% of revenue.

Michael Bisping downplays Alexander Volkanovski age concerns heading into UFC 298: "He's a special fighter"

Josh Evanoff - February 16, 2024

There, Alexander Volkanovski will return to featherweight for the first time since last summer, to face the rising Ilia Topuria. ‘El Matador’ last demolished Josh Emmett in June, handing him a lopsided unanimous decision loss.

Michael Bisping explains how Colby Covington could earn a fourth title shot in short order: "If you want to become the man, you gotta beat the man"

Chris Taylor - February 2, 2024

Michael Bisping believes Colby Covington could be one win away from a fourth UFC title shot if he plays his cards right. Covington (17-4 MMA) is of course coming off a lopsided unanimous decision loss to reigning welterweight kingpin Leon Edwards back at UFC 296. That setback marked the third time that ‘Chaos’ has come up short in his quest to become the promotion’s undisputed welterweight champion.

Michael Bisping explains why 'crazy' Tom Aspinall vs. Brock Lesnar fight could headline UFC 300

Josh Evanoff - January 9, 2024

As of now, there are a slew of matchups announced for the event, including Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan. However, beyond comments from names such as Leon Edwards, there’s no clear champion to headline the card.

Over the course of the last few weeks, Sean Strickland and Ian Machado Garry have somewhat become rivals. It started with Strickland offering his thoughts on the speculation surrounding Machado Garry’s wife, with the Irishman obviously not being too pleased about that. The two had a run-in at the UFC PI, with Strickland making it clear that he’d be willing to fight him – even though he wasn’t overly interested in doing so.

Michael Bisping explains why Conor McGregor is playing risky business by fighting at middleweight in UFC return: “It's going to make him tired”

Harry Kettle - January 4, 2024

UFC commentator Michael Bisping has questioned whether or not it’s a good idea for Conor McGregor to move up to middleweight. To kickstart the new year, Conor McGregor announced that he will return to the Octagon for International Fight Week this summer. His aim is to lock horns with Michael Chandler, and he wants to do so at 185 pounds. McGregor has never fought at middleweight before, leading some to believe that he’s simply putting on a show and that he doesn’t actually want to fight at a weight that high.

Michael Bisping reflects on attempt to step in and fight Daniel Cormier at UFC 200: "DC kind of laughed it off"

Josh Evanoff - November 21, 2023

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping was serious about fighting Daniel Cormier at UFC 200. Given that we’re just a few months away from UFC 300, it feels right to look back at UFC 200. The historic event had a lot of good, but also a lot of bad. Famously, the main event between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones was derailed during fight week due to ‘Bones’ failing a USADA drug test.  Instantly, names such as Michael Bisping and Gegard Mousasi offered to step in.
