UFC veteran Andrei Arlovski has scored his first stoppage win in 10 years in combat sports at Dirty Boxing Championship. For the longest time, Andrei Arlovski has been competing in combat sports. For the most part, he’s spent his energy on mixed martial arts. Nowadays, though, he’s enjoying the twilight of his career in a different way – with a venture into boxing. For some, it’s an unusual transition – but others feel as if he’s earned the right to make any decision he wants when it comes to earning money and having fun.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski will compete in the boxing ring later this month. ‘The Pitbull’ hasn’t been seen in action since a clash with Martin Buday last June at UFC 303. The former champion entered the bout riding a three-fight losing streak, previously suffering losses against Waldo Cortes-Acosta, Don’Tale Mayes, and Marcos Rogerio de Lima. Sadly for Andrei Arlovski, he was handed a split-decision loss by ‘Badys’ last summer. After the defeat, he was released from the promotion.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski wants to keep fighting until he’s 48 years old. ‘The Pitbull’ is fresh off his return at UFC 303 over the weekend in Las Vegas. Fighting on the prelims against Martin Buday, Andrei Arlovski entered the bout riding a three-fight losing streak. While the 45-year-old gave a spirited effort, he still exited the cage with a split-decision defeat. As it turns out, that will be his final appearance in the octagon.

His heavyweight run has been remarkable, largely because of his longevity. Alas, at the age of 45, it appears as if his tenure with the Ultimate Fighting Championship has come to an end. In his most recent outing at UFC 303, he fell to a split decision loss at the hands of Martin Buday.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski has booked his 42nd Octagon appearance for UFC 303. Arlovski (34-23 MMA) made his promotional debut way back in November of 2000 at UFC 28. It was in 2005 that Arlovski earned the title of UFC heavyweight champion by defeating Tim Sylvia (31-10 MMA) at UFC 51.

UFC heavyweight Carlos Felipe has accepted an 18-month suspension from USADA after his manager revealed the costs involved with his defense. Back in October, Carlos Felipe lost to Andrei Arlovski via unanimous decision to drop his professional mixed martial arts record to 11-2. It was then announced soon after that Felipe had tested positive for the anabolic agent Boldenone and its metabolites. He was fined $4,200 of his purse and $489 in prosecution fees.

UFC heavyweight veteran Andrei Arlovski showed off a nasty foot injury that happened in his last fight at UFC Vegas 19 against Tom Aspinall. Arlovski was submitted in the second round by Aspinall when the young British prospect caught the former UFC heavyweight champion in a second-round rear-naked choke. It was a tough loss for “The Pitbull,” who had looked sharp as of late with a two-fight winning streak over Tanner Boser and Philipe Lins heading into the fight with Aspinall. Unfortunately for Arlovski, the fight did not go as planned for the veteran when he was finished. To make matters worse for Arlovski, he also hurt his foot in the fight.

UFC heavyweight Tom Aspinall called for a fight against fellow heavyweight prospect Chris Daukaus following his big win at UFC Vegas 19. Aspinall picked up the biggest win of his career on Saturday night when he submitted former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski via rear-naked choke in the second round. It was by far the biggest win of Aspinall’s career to date and it should land him a ranked opponent in his next fight. Although Arlovski is a quality veteran fighter who is respected around the fight game, he wasn’t in the top-15. After finishing him by second-round submission, Aspinall is hoping to fight someone ranked next, and it just so happens that the perfect opponent also fought on Saturday night. That would be Daukaus.
