While Logan Paul is best known for his success on YouTube, his appearances on WWE television and a few notable controversies, he’s also spent some time in the boxing ring. In many ways he was one of the catalysts behind the rise of this sub-genre as a result of his two-fight series with KSI, with both contests gaining big mainstream attention.

Tyson Fury recently noted that he’s going to retire from boxing after his fight with Dillian Whyte. ‘The Gyspy King’ is now deciding to clarify that stance a little bit. He’s still looking for a crossover bout with Francis Ngannou. The WBC heavyweight champion is set to face ‘The Body Snatcher’ next month in Wembley Stadium. At yesterday’s inaugural press conference for the event, Tyson Fury said that he’s going to retire post-fight. He explained that he’s got enough money and that he’s only getting older.

Cole Shelton - March 1, 2022

Tyson Fury says he will retire following his fight against Dillian Whyte. Fury is set to defend his WBC and The Rings heavyweight titles against Whyte on April 23 in the UK. Many expected this to be a tune-up fight for a title unification bout against the winner of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Anthony Joshua. However, in the media scrum after his press conference to hype the Whyte fight, he announced this will be his final fight.

Logan Paul is seemingly heading back to the world of combat sports. The older Paul brother was the first to garner a lot of popularity from boxing. First boxing fellow YouTuber KSI in a PPV event in 2018, the two rematched in 2019 with Matchroom Boxing. While he didn’t win either bout, his popularity earned him the opportunity to fight boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in 2021.

McGregor (22-6 MMA) was in attendance at last night’s Bellator 275 event in Dublin to support his SBG teammates Sinead Kavanagh and Lee Hammond. While there, the Irish star had a chat with ‘The Mirror‘ where he was asked to comment on Jake Paul.

The lucrative new deal is set to make him one of the highest-paid earners in the promotion, which should come as no surprise given his position as one of the pound-for-pound best fighters in the sport.

Golovkin and Alvarez first squared off in September of 2017, where they fought to a draw in a fight many thought “GGG” won. A year later, nearly to the exact day, Gennady and Canelo would have their highly anticipated rematch. This time around, it was Alvarez winning by majority decision. It was another close fight where many pundits again believed that Golovkin should’ve got his hand raised.

Floyd Mayweather has responded to Logan Paul’s accusation that he hasn’t been paid from their June 2021 boxing match. The pair notably had a high-profile exhibition bout last year. Against all odds, the YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul was able to make it to the end of the eight-round contest. ‘The Maverick’ slowed the bout down with the clinch, and the former champion had issues getting much offense off. The fight was a no-contest, due to there being no judges on hand for the fight.

Logan Paul says he will be suing Floyd Mayweather as he hasn’t been paid for their boxing match. Back in June, Paul and Mayweather had a highly-anticipated exhibition match that went all eight rounds and the YouTuber did better than expected. The fight was also a massive success as it did over one million pay-per-view buys. But, even with that, Logan Paul was not paid. Jake Paul later revealed that his brother was going to sue Mayweather over the debacle.

The online feud between Conor McGregor and Tyson Fury continued this afternoon with the Irishman unloading on ‘The Gypsy King’. The beef began after Fury complimented former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a post earlier this month. McGregor, who has a bitter and storied rivalry with Khabib, blasted Tyson for his gesture.

Tyson Fury has fired back at “bully” Conor McGregor after the Irishman targeted him in a recent Twitter post. Fury, a two-time world heavyweight champion, who has held the WBC and The Ring magazine titles since defeating Deontay Wilder in 2020, complimented former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov in a post earlier this month (see below).

Jake Paul has slammed ESPN and Disney for pulling Joe Rogan from UFC 271, this while standing behind Dana White. On Friday, news broke that Rogan would not be part of Saturday’s broadcast due to a scheduling conflict. The popular podcast host will now be replaced by Michael Bisping, who will call tonight’s fights alongside Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier.

UFC lightweight Paddy Pimblett doesn’t believe Jake Paul’s attempt to increase fighter pay amongst UFC fighters is legitimate. If there’s a newcomer in the UFC that’s doing a good job of making some noise right now, it’s Paddy Pimblett. The former Cage Warriors star burst onto the UFC scene last September with a vicious knockout win over Luigi Vendramini, and now, he’s ready to get back into the Octagon for a second time on March 19 when he fights Kazula Vargas at UFC London.
