BKFC fighter Justin Watson scored an unbelievable two-second knockout over Cole Ferrell at BKFC 69 last night. Over the course of the last few years, bare-knuckle boxing has been on the rise in a big way. In addition to showcasing new talent, they’ve also been able to lure some big names from mixed martial arts over to the product. Some have found success and some haven’t, but either way, BKFC has benefitted.

TikTok star Bryce Hall will be returning to BKFC early next year to face Kimbo Slice Jr. Since being founded in early 2018, David Feldman’s bare-knuckle promotion has largely focused on signing ex-UFC talent. Look no further than the company’s top stars, which include the likes of Mike Perry, Eddie Alvarez, and Jeremy Stephens. The two latter fighters are actually set to headline BKFC KnuckleMania V in January.

Mike Perry has gone off on BKFC over his spat with Conor McGregor. McGregor surprised many fight fans when he claimed that Perry was no longer with BKFC. The “Notorious” one, who is a part owner of BKFC, ripped Perry and claimed he was afraid of fighting Dave Mundell. McGregor also bashed Perry over the “King of Violence” championship and said “Platinum” was never a world champion.

Mike Perry has issued an apology after he was arrested for drunk driving in Florida. Perry was arrested by the Clermont Police Department on Oct. 12 at 1:04 a.m. local time. He was charged with driving under the influence along with an offense of refusing to sign a citation requiring a court appearance. ‘Platinum’ was released on a $1,500 bond later that morning, and is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 30. The maximum penalty is up to 60 days in jail and a fine up to $500.

Bare Knuckle FC superstar and former UFC standout Mike Perry was arrested earlier this month in Florida for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) ahead of his fighting return. According to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office, the 33-year-old Perry was arrested and charged on October 12th in Clermont, FL for DUI.  He was also handed a secondary charge of refusing to sign a citation requiring a court appearance.

UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s time as a part owner of Bare Knuckle FC featured a hands-on approach ahead of one of the promotion’s biggest events of the year. BKFC: Spain features plenty of bare-knuckle veterans and newcomers on Saturday’s card. The event is headlined by a vacant lightweight title bout between Franco Tenaglia and Tony Soto.

Former UFC fighter Kevin Lee wants to have a similar level of success in bare-knuckle MMA that Mike Perry has had in bare-knuckle boxing. This week, Kevin Lee is set to return to active competition at Lights Out Championship 17. Beyond that, he’s also booked to compete for Gamebred Bareknuckle MMA later this year. The ex-UFC contender has been on a rough run of form over the course of the last few years, but his hope is that he’ll eventually be able to work his way back to the big time.

McGregor is still plotting his UFC comeback three years after his last appearance in the Octagon. He hasn’t fought since snapping his leg against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264.

Over the years, they’ve also experimented with bringing influencers into the ring as well, such as Bryce Hall.

Sean O’Malley believes Mike Perry would be able to defeat Jake Paul if they had a rematch in bare-knuckle boxing. Last weekend, Jake Paul and Mike Perry went head to head in a blockbuster boxing showdown. In the end, though, Perry was stopped in the sixth round by Paul. While many felt as if ‘Platinum’ had a real chance to spring the upset, he ultimately wasn’t able to overcome the size difference between the two.

Tensions are intensifying between UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria and superstar Conor McGregor. After withdrawing from his scheduled UFC bout with Michael Chandler at UFC 303, McGregor is recovering from a foot injury. In the meantime, he’s exploring some of his other avenues, including being a part-owner of Bare Knuckle FC.

Former Bellator light-heavyweight contender Muhammed ‘King Mo’ Lawal has signed with BKFC. The 43-year-old has been out of action since a catchweight bout against Andrew Kapel in November 2019. Entering the contest, the man known to fans as ‘King Mo’ had suffered three straight knockout losses. However, stoppage defeats to Jiri Prochazka, Liam McGeary, and Ryan Bader didn’t deter Muhammed Lawal.

Heather Hardy has revealed her fighting career is likely over after she sustained too much brain damage. Hardy was set to face Christine Ferea on May 11 at BKFC 61 in the main event spot, but on social media she revealed her fight now is off. Hardy has competed in boxing, being a world champion, and in MMA, and was set to make her BKFC debut. However, she posted a lengthy message on Instagram that her fighting career is likely over due to sustaining too much brain damage.
