The UFC intends to remain on ESPN for the foreseeable future It appears the UFC and Dana White’s relationship with ESPN won’t be ending at any point soon. Although the $300 million-dollar per year contract is set to expire in 2025, reports from Sports Business Journal indicate the promotion’s intention to keep ESPN as its singular broadcast platform in the United States. The UFC previously called Fox Sports home from 2011-2018, this after a six-year stint with Paramount Network (formerly Spike TV) gave the UFC its mainstream appeal.

That setback to ‘The Lioness’ marked Ronda’s second straight defeat, as she was previously knocked out cold by Holly Holm in November of 2015.

UFC bantamweight contender Sean O’Malley believes Henry Cejudo has the edge against Marlon Vera. Earlier this week, the bout was announced between ‘Triple C’ and ‘Chito’. The two will return at UFC 292 in Boston, in what has turned out to be a bantamweight-filled card. In addition to Henry Cejudo vs. Marlon Vera, the card itself will be headlined by Aljamain Sterling’s return against Sean O’Malley.

Over the last few days, the two billionaires have been going back and forth over a potential fight. For a while now, the two have been at odds, as they both manage massive social media platforms. Earlier this week, Elon Musk offered a cage fight to help settle their dispute, and Mark Zuckerberg agreed.

Former UFC women’s strawweight champion Rose Namajunas will face Manon Fiorot in September. ‘Thug Rose’ has been out of the cage for well over a year, last competing last May. There, Rose Namajunas attempted to make yet another title defense against Carla Esparza. However, the two ended up putting on one of the worst bouts in promotional history at UFC 274.

At this moment in time, it doesn’t seem as if Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler is going to happen. If it does, it isn’t going to happen anytime soon, given that McGregor isn’t back in the USADA testing pool and he also has legal issues to resolve.

Elon Musk of Twitter and Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook have both reportedly agreed to face off with one another. It’s been well documented that Mark Zuckerberg has done some training in recent years, but we’re not sure the same can be said for Musk.

Modestas Bukauskas wasn’t happy with the way he fought last Saturday. Bukauskas was taking on Zac Pauga at UFC Vegas 75 and entering the fight, he was confident he would be able to finish him. He thought his striking would be too much for Pauga but that wasn’t the case as the scrap went the distance.

Aljamain Sterling believes Petr Yan was overrated and overhyped by the UFC and MMA fans. Yan is the former UFC bantamweight champion and entered his first title defense against Aljamain Sterling as a sizeable betting favorite. The fight ended in controversial fashion as Sterling won the contest by DQ as a result of Yan throwing an illegal knee. After that, the Russian won the interim belt by decision as he beat Cory Sandhagen but has since lost three straight fights as he lost to Sterling in the rematch, Sean O’Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.

Jorge Masvidal and Sean Strickland are interested in helping train Elon Musk. Musk and FaceBook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg began taking shots at one another and both agreed to fight one another in the UFC. Although many assumed it was a joke, Dana White confirmed they are serious and he is hopeful he can get the fight done.

Women’s flyweight contender Maycee Barber didn’t like Julianna Pena’s actions during Amanda Nunes’s retirement. ‘The Lioness’ returned to the cage at UFC 289 earlier this month, facing Irene Aldana. However, the women’s bantamweight champion was originally expected to face Julianna Pena in a trilogy bout. Nonetheless, ‘The Venezuelan Vixen’ pulled out due to injury, and Amanda Nunes faced ‘Robles’.

UFC women flyweights Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko are nearly set to run it back. The two previously faced off in March at UFC 285 in the co-main event. Entering the contest, ‘Bullet’ was understandably a massive favorite, and was targeting a potential move back up to bantamweight. While Valentina Shevchenko was interested in a trilogy with Amanda Nunes, those plans were derailed by Alexa Grasso.
