Justin Gaethje believes Khabib Nurmagomedov is not running his Twitter account
Adam D Martin - November 12, 2021
UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje believes that former divisional champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is not running his Twitter account. On Friday, Nurmagomedov’s Twitter account posted something that criticized Ferguson for his recent stretch. For Nurmagomedov, Ferguson hasn’t accomplished much over the past six years, and he made sure to let his former rival know that on social media. The thing is, Nurmagomedov is currently a retired fighter, so it came out of nowhere to see him criticizing Ferguson, particularly since both men are at completely different points in their careers. While Nurmagomedov is happily retired at the top of his game, Ferguson has struggled badly in the last few years to even get into the win column.
Justin Gaethje believes Dustin Poirier would rather walk away than fight him again
Adam D Martin - November 12, 2021
UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje believes that divisional rival Dustin Poirier would rather walk away than fight him again. Gaethje defeated Michael Chandler on the UFC 268 main card to likely become the next man to fight for the belt at 155lbs, which is currently owned by UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira. Poirier and Oliveira meet next month in the main event of UFC 269, and Gaethje is hoping that he gets to face the winner of that matchup for the belt. However, he is unsure if Poirier would actually go ahead and fight him again.

Adam D Martin - November 12, 2021
UFC lightweight Justin Gaethje says “I have to fight the winner of Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier to justify the integrity of (MMA).” Gaethje defeated Michael Chandler via unanimous decision in a “Fight of the Year” candidate at UFC 268 last weekend in New York City. It was a phenomenal fight by both men, who went the distance in an all-out war, but at the end of the 15 minutes, it was Gaethje who was the winner on the judges’ scorecards. He maintains his No. 2 spot in the UFC lightweight division rankings and he hopes that it’s enough for him to get the next title shot against the winner of UFC 269’s Dustin Poirier vs. Charles Oliveira fight.
Chael Sonnen reacts after Frankie Edgar suffers KO loss to Marlon Vera at UFC 268
Adam D Martin - November 12, 2021
MMA analyst Chael Sonnen reacted after former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar suffered a KO loss to Marlon Vera at UFC 268. Edgar fought Vera on the main card of last Saturday’s UFC 268 pay-per-view event. The first round saw Edgar control Vera with his wrestling and take it, while the second round saw Edgar do some more work with his grappling before Vera came back to steal it late. Two of the judges had the fight 1-1 and another had it 2-0 for Edgar heading into the third and final round, but the judges were taken out of the equation when Vera connected on a brutal front kick and knocked Edgar out late in the third stanza.

Adam D Martin - November 12, 2021

McGregor often gets into it on social media with his fellow fighters, and that was the case again on Thursday evening when he got into it with Masvidal. In addition to going back-and-forth with Masvidal, McGregor also had a surprising run-in with Yan, the interim UFC bantamweight champion. Check out what McGregor said to both fighters below during his latest Twitter sparring session.

Scott Coker expresses interest in Kayla Harrison, says she'll be at Bellator 271
Drake Riggs - November 11, 2021
Kayla Harrison is one of the biggest free agents MMA has had perhaps since Michael Chandler. Unsurprisingly, Bellator President Scott Coker has some interest. Bellator’s featherweight division has proven to be unmatched over the years – simply due to them having the vast majority of competitors worldwide that make it up. Harrison, a lightweight throughout her career with the exception of one bout, will likely be on her way back down to 145-pounds if she so chooses not to stick with the PFL as her fighting home.
