Former UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw doesn’t seem to be a fan of Dominick Cruz. Last week, ‘The Dominator’ gave his opinion on the UFC bantamweight division. Specifically, Cruz discussed how T.J. Dillashaw is likely to receive a title shot next against champion Aljamain Sterling. UFC President Dana White noted last month, that the two are likely to fight later this year.

Former UFC dual-weight champion Conor McGregor doesn’t seem to be a fan of Jorge Masvidal’s recent accusation. The Irishman has stated that he’s going to return later this year at 170 pounds. He’s been out of action due to a leg break last July against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264. Since that injury, McGregor has been on the shelf but has made his intentions known.

Jorge Masvidal has said he is innocent of all charges in his alleged sucker punch attack on Colby Covington at a Miami steakhouse. After Covington defeated Masvidal in the main event of UFC 272, ‘Gamebred’ was still reeling in anger with what ‘Chaos’ had to say about him and his family. With that, Masvidal allegedly jumped Covington in Miami, chipping his tooth and damaging his watch. Still, ‘Gamebred’ claims he is innocent on all charges.

Glover Teixeira has slammed the UFC for the ‘ridiculous’ decision to strip Charles Oliveira of the lightweight title. Charles Oliveira (33-8 MMA) was scheduled to defend his then-UFC lightweight title against Justin Gaethje (23-4 MMA) at UFC 274 on May 7th. Unfortunately for Oliveira he failed to make the 155 pound weight limit at weigh-in’s the Friday before and ended up being stripped of the title, and ineligible to win it back in the main event. Oliveira ultimately did go on to compete and defeated Gaethje via first-round rear-naked choke, making it a record 11 wins in a row for ‘do Bronx’.

Jorge Masvidal has accused Conor McGregor of injecting steroids and ‘all kinds of things’ into his body. Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA) last fought in July of 2021 at UFC 264 where he succumbed to defeat against Dustin Poirier (28-7 MMA). The result was a broken leg for McGregor, which required surgery, rehabilitation and the Irishman is back into training looking for a Fall return to the Octagon.

He suffered the injuries during his July 2021 trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier. The “Notorious” one lost the fight via first-round TKO due to doctor’s stoppage.

Icho Larenas, a former UFC fighter, has been charged with murder. According to a report by TVA Nouvelles, police in Laval, Quebec received a call on Monday morning about a home invasion. The call was made by Larenas and his wife after they both relocated to a family member’s house after they were robbed at their residence.

Joaquin Buckley isn’t fond of his former opponent Kevin Holland. Buckley made his UFC debut against Holland and suffered a third-round TKO loss. Since the fight, both men have had ups and downs and ‘Trailblazer’ recently dropped to welterweight. During his time outside of the Octagon, Holland has made three heroic efforts in stopping criminals and helping citizens but Buckley doesn’t think it’s for real.

UFC flyweight Deiveson Figueiredo has some complaints about the promotion establishing an interim title. The Brazilian was last in action at UFC 270 in January of this year. Figueiredo re-captured the flyweight title in his trilogy bout with Brandon Moreno via unanimous decision. Following the bout, the UFC and Dana White showed interest in making a fourth bout between the flyweights.

Anderson Silva’s coach doesn’t believe it would be wise for Jake Paul to fight ‘The Spider’. The 47-year-old is fresh off an exhibition boxing match with Bruno Machado last weekend. While he didn’t claim the win due to it being an exhibition, he dominated the contest. Silva knocked down the UAE Warriors champion and easily handled the matchup.
