UFC light heavyweight champion Glover Teixeira has shared some career advice for “corrupted” Brazilian fighter Paulo Costa. Costa (13-2 MMA) began his UFC career with five straight victories, four of which came via knockout. The then undefeated ‘Borrachinha’ would receive a middleweight title shot against Israel Adesanya at UFC 253. Unfortunately for ‘The Eraser’, things did not go as planned against ‘Stylebender’, as Adesanya retained his title with a second round TKO.

UFC President Dana White has responded to accusations that he snubbed former lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The story goes like this, after Charles Oliveira submitted Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 274, White announced that ‘Do Bronx’ would be one half of a future vacant lightweight title fight.

Weili Zhang has revealed what Joanna Jedrzejczyk said to her during their face-off ahead of tonight’s UFC 275 event. Zhang (21-3 MMA) and Jedrzejczyk (16-4 MMA) will meet for a second time this evening in Singapore. The pair originally collided back at UFC 248 in March of 2020, with ‘Magnum’ emerging victorious by way of split-decision in a thrilling “Fight of the Year” performance.
UFC interim welterweight title?

One of the UFC’s top welterweight fighters believes an interim title is “the right thing to do” given the absence of champion Kamaru Usman. Usman (20-1 MMA), the promotions reigning welterweight champion, has not competed since scoring a decision victory over Colby Covington at November’s UFC 268 event. Following his fifth consecutive defense of the 170lbs title, ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ revealed that he was suffering from a broken hand that required surgery.

The Octagon returns to Singapore for tonight’s UFC 275 event, an eleven-bout fight card headlined by Glover Teixeira vs. Jiri Procházka. Teixeira (33-7 MMA) captured the promotions light heavyweight title at UFC 267 with a second round submission victory over Jan Blachowicz. The victory marked the 42-year-olds sixth in a row and third straight stoppage.

On fight week that ended up being the case and Daniel Argueta stepped up on short notice. Although Jackson cruised to a decision win, he was disappointed in his performance overall.
