UFC middleweight Robert Whittaker is looking to fight champion Israel Adesanya for the third time. ‘The Reaper’ is set to face Marvin Vettori at UFC Paris in September. The return will be his first bout since his unanimous decision defeat to Israel Adesanya in February. The defeat brought him to 0-2 in his series with ‘The Last Stylebender’.

UFC president Dana White still wants to see Khamzat Chimaev fight Nate Diaz. The Chechen was last seen in action against Gilbert Burns at UFC 273 in April. Chimaev moved to 11-0 in his professional career, defeating the Brazilian via decision. The bout was easily the biggest test of the 28-year-old’s career thus far.

Since then, ‘The Last Stylebender’ made the move to MMA and has become a UFC champion, this while Pereira just recently got back into MMA and is now 2-0 in the UFC. The Brazilian is set to face Sean Strickland at UFC 276 on July 2 and should he win, many expect he will face Adesanya next. Reports stated that Velasquez chased a man in a vehicle, firing multiple times. One man was struck by gunfire but had non-life threatening injuries.
